| What activities does Venture Club offer: A number of exciting activities challenge the intellect, emotions and body. Rock Climbing Abseiling Ropework Competition and Sport climbing Orienteering Caving Bridge Jumping Other things - Adventure Holiday Camps, Canoeing at Lakeside, Learning some fist aid, or how to handle: hypothermia, snakebite, storms and other emergencies in the hills, watching climbing videos, challange quizzes, etc .....but most of all we have fun! |
| It is an Adventure Club, which places emphasis on the development of the individual, both in outdoor skills and in personal advancement. The activities are used as a vehicle to enhance the growth of self-confidence, and the appreciation of the natural environment. The members become more fulfilled people, able to override imagined limitations and push their personal limits, without any form of aggression against their peers. |
