The story of Sailormoon starts off with Usagi, a clumsy girl who live and study in Japan. She met with a black cat who can talk with a cresent moon on its forehead named Luna. Luna gave her a broach which can make her transform into Sailormoon to fight against their enemy, Dark Kingdom. As the story goeas on, she met 4 other Sailor soldiers(senshi) who join her to battle with Dark Kingdom's monster(youma) and its 4 generals(shitennou). The senshi later finish off the 4 generals with the help of Mamoru Chiba, Tuxedo Mask. Both Usagi and Mamoru then felt in love with each other, maybe because they are actually a pair of lovers in their past live. As they defeat each of the generals, the senshi begin to realise their past lives, which originated from the Silver Millennium on the Moon. Unfortunately, Mamoru was captured by Dark Kingdom and turned to evil by Queen Metalia's power. Kunzite then attacked the senshi and they suddenly transported to the moon through a portal which created by Sailormoon's Ginzuishou. The Ginzuishou(Mistic Silver Crystal) is a powerful crystal formed by Usagi's teardrop. There, they found the ruins which once was their glory Moon Kingdom, the Silver Millennium. They met with Sailormoon's past mother, the Queen Serenity in a hologram form. Queen Serenity told them more about their past lives on the moon and how the Silver Millennium was destroyed. It's Belle who make the people of the Earth (Mamoru's planet) fight with the people of the moon. Belle killed Mamoru when he try to protect Usagi and Usagi commit suicide because she wants to be with him forever. Usagi's past mother, Queen Serenity had to seal away their enemy and transport everyone involved in the battle to Earth to be reincarnated for another time by using her last powers. They went back to Earth and defeated Kunzite but Mamoru was their new opponent. With the powers that Queen Metalia have given to Mamoru, he fight against the senshi until to the North Pole, D-Point. There, Sailormoon managed to heal Mamoru but the other 4 senshi have sacrificed their lifes to fight Dark Kingdom's last 5 monsters. Queen Belle then killed Mamoru once again and transformed into Super Belle with the evil power from Queen Metalia. Sailormoon uses her Ginzuishou's energy and the remaining power from the spirits of the 4 sacrificed guardian gods to eliminate Queen Belle and Queen Metalia forever. All the senshi and Mamoru then reincarnated in the last series but they have lost their memories. Dark Kingdom was gone and they live the normal and happy lives once again.
