After a long two week wait, finally the next Naarderbos sail day arrived. Everbody was going to be present, and so were we!

Peter of 2 brothers was present as usual, seen here with some of his boats ,as was Jeroen, who brought his newest toy, his rigger, for a tryout. It lay in the water beautifully, floating on it's sponsoons nicely.

Unfortunately his motor stalled all the time, probably due to insufficient cooling. Too bad.
My Unlimited went like crazy again, especially the first couple of laps.

After empting a few sets of batteries and setting out dinishing the last set, disaster struck: for some or another reason, the boat ended upside down in the water which caused the speed controller to completely burn away. After getting home, the rest of the equipment proved to have suffered as well; damage... well, a lot. Damn!
My father ran into some bad luck as well, because his boat, due to a radio glitch that made him lose control, slammed into the side of another one. Damage: a big hole in the front of the hull... damn again!

Here you see Pete's electric boat with his new motor, a Plettenberg which replaced the 820 he fried last sail day.
That should rock, especially with the new motor!

Pete's newest toy, a Aeromarine sprintcat 29, which he had lying around the house for about two years.
This baby sailed along nicely as well.

A nice bunch of people turned up at this sail day again, the weather was reasonable, cloudy and chilly, but the atmosphere was great.
Also, some new attendants showed up, like Gijsbert with his wavedancer.

to view a movie of the wavedancer in action (1.9 Mb).

Same goes for Marco Janssen and his Blue Streak.
