After we woke up sunday morning we first made some last changes to our boats,
and left the house to go to the Naarderbos, where there was a sailday.
With our car totally full with boats, battery packs and a kayak on the roof we
arrived there about 10.45 hour.
There where some people that arrived earlier.
So we first introduced ourselves to some people we didn't know yet, and said hello to
some we did know from the first sail day.
Some of them were very busy with their boats to make some changes, and some were still
sailing.
Before we took are boats to the water we first took the kayak, because some boat
suddenly stopped on the water.
After that fast rescue operation, we took our stuff out of the car to join the rest.
A very good friend of mine, Peter from 2 brothers, arrived a few minutes after me,
and decided to put his boats at our place.
(as you can see in the picture above)
Suddenly i decided to try some of my boats for a fast run on the water.
The Robbe unlimited.
After a few rounds my packs were empty.
So my father decided to take his B-24 for some sailing.
unfortunately his boat did nothing.
It seemed to be an electronical problem, that we couldn't fix there.
Damn. Later i took my boat for a second run. I asked Pete of i could borrow his GPS
meter, because i was curious what the top speed of my boat was.
After a few rounds, we took it out of the water and looked.
49 km/h!!!
Wow, that was something i wasn't expecting.
I always thought that it was something like 35 km/h, but 49 no.
Peter also measured the speed of his Daytona beach. His boat had a top speed of 51.7 km/h with a
22 cc motor.

Jeroen wanted to try his boat also, because he was
curious about the speed his boat runs.

Pete wasn't satisfied with the top speed of his
Daytona, so he took his Electric boat to the water to take it for a run.

It had a top speed of 61 km/h, so not bad at all, and
that for an electric boat.
So who says that electric can't be fast.
He also did have a run with his Magin one, which was fast as well. Not as fast
as his other boat but with 40.8 km/h also not bad.
In the picture above you can see my dad with his rescue boat.
He had a very busy time on the water, because a lot of boats died or
malfunctioned on the water.
Apart from this, it was a very good day, and we had a lot of fun together.
Now waiting for the next sail day.
