Sailday
Klinkenbergenplas
Last we did hear at 2 Brothers RC in Bussum that the soon was a Sailday at the Klinkenbergenplas in
the surrounddings of
Oestgeest an Warmond. The ask us or we liked to come also because it should be
fun, everyboddy taked his boat with him, you can try there your own boat for a
trail and their were no sail competition. You can hear information of other guys,
see other boats etc.
It seems us fun so when the time was their, we jumpt in to our car en drived to
Warmond with our boats.When we arrived we saw one of our great friend Peter
buzzy with one of his boats.
He introduced us to one of the persons who maked this day come true, Named Jeroen.
After we got our stuff from the car and placed in next to Peter, we taked a look
around at the other persons that were there. Wat the took with theme and where
the sailed with.
Some were very buzzy with their models to take them
for a run, so we also took one of our models the Robbe Unlimited, and played
with it on the water. First we wanted to sail with the B-24 but with that boat
we had a electrical problem. The speed controlle was broke.
The water was very wild so after a couple of rounds i decided to take my
boat out of the water, because i was afraid my boat turnt on his back, so i must
row.
(Peter had that problem a lot of times ).
Here under some of the models that where there.
So as you can see there were a lot of boats.
Peter was at the moment sailing with one of his electric boats.
He took 7 boats with him to this festival so maked him self buzzy all the time.
Here under you can see one of his boats were off he the manufacture of the hull
did'nt know. It had a Graupner 820 BB turbo motor and drived on 24 cells.
It seams to be an canon ball as fast as the boat goes.
He also had another boat with him, The Daytona Beach of at the other side The
Beach Daytona with a 22 cc Engine (Zenoah)
This was also a canon ball!
Futher there were other beautiful boats as the Crackerbox, were behind Barbie
was waterskiing.
The time was there to show my RC Surfer to the public, what gived a lot of fun
reactions. because the water was so rough, it made a lot of beautiful jumps.
Nobody had expect that this thing goes so fast, but nobody did'nt no i replaced
the original motor with a muts faster one. Later Peter took another boat of his
collection to sail with. The Graupner Key Biscayne.
That gives us the idea to tray to make the B-24.
We changed the speed controlle with the one of the Unlimited, and that worked.
So There also goes our B-24 for a run.
Te Run was very good and the boat did go fast, it did'nt go as fast as the boat
of Peter But what do you want if you work in a hobby shop!
Some time later Peter did get his Magic One of Robbe to the water for a special
run. 5 minutes later for a rescue oparation for the Hydro of Edwin, because the
engine of his boat was broke.
After this Peter has to take a Rescue operation for one of his own boats. This
time his Daytona Beach Broked for a second time.
So Pete rowed and rowed in his Rubber boat. Atliest that boat did'nt broke.
Also one of the guys took his Rigger for a run.
Wow That goes Fast..
We enjoyed very muts, and hope we can have soon another day
just like this one.
