Vets Care Club, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore organized an introductory and welcome seminar for the new coming students in the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore on 20th of November 2006. The Chief guest of the event was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Muneer (Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science, UVAS Lahore). Dr. Syed Sajjad Haider ( Patron-in-Chief of VCO) and Prof. Dr. H.A. Hashmi (PAtron, Vets Care Club, UVAS) also chaired the ceremony. The newly coming students were warmly welcomed. Presentation was given on the activities of the club for last one year highlighting the work of Vets Care Club UVAS under the auspices of Vets Care Organization Pakistan for the welfare of animals & uplift of veterinary profession in Pakistan. The awards of excllence were given to those members who were declared the best members for last year. Appreciation certificates were also distributed among the existing members.

3 days free veterinary treatment camp on the eve of Eid ul Adha at Bakkar Mandi Lahore (27-29 DEC 2006) |

Vets Care Organization Pakistan arranged free veterinary treatment camp on the eve of Eid Ul Adha at Bakkar Mandi Lahore from 27-29th of December 2006. The objective of the camp was to provide free clinical approach & medicine to the animals which are brought for selling purpose in Bakkar Mandi from far away areas of the province. The camp was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Manzoor Ahmad (Vice Chancellor, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Lahore Pakistan). The inaugural session was also chaired by Prof. Dr. H. A. Hashmi (Patron, Vets Care Club UVAS Lahore) and Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal Chaudhary (Director, Insitute of Continuing Education & Extension, UVAS Lahore). Worthy guests were briefed about the objective of the camp by the organizers. They also visited the stall maintained any the camp. Prof. Dr. Manzoor Ahmad appreciated the team work and congratulated the organizers for successful organization of this camp to provide the clinical approach to the animals free of cost. Prof. Dr. H. A. Hashmi urged the students to treat maximum animals during the 3 day treatment camp. Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal Chaudhary said that it is an excellent & well maintained camp arranged by Vets Care Organization. After the inauguration of the camp, 5 mobile veterinary teams were established which went away from the camp in the main BAKKAR MANDI in different ditrections and provided free clinical approach and medicine to the animals upto 6:00 PM.
