Victory Weyr
Healer Hall
Harthfelt Hold was founded around the Healer's Hall on the Southern Continent.  Pern's Master Healer Franser argued that the Healers needed a base where they could treat the worse of their cases and train new healers on the Southern Continent.  He was appalled at the number of patients who did not survive
Between to the northern continent.  His Healers agreed.  After a great deal of discussion, on where to locate this new Hall, Victory Weyr located caverns situated close to the lush greenery of jungles. Then came the arguements as to who was to man this new Hall. Numberous healed patients who wanted a new
start volunteered.  Through hard work Harthfelt grew from a cluster of idealistic Healers to 'The' Healer's Hall.  Gradually the healers grew and brewed their own medicines becoming producers of medicinal cures.

Master Healer Franser over saw the building of the new Hall and was named the first Holder of Harthfelt.   He married one of his patients, Corria.  Their son Jastic inherited Harthfelt.  So it was that Harthfelt passed from son to son until the last heir to inherit Harthfelt failed to produce a child before he and his spouse were killed.  With no living heir for Harthfelt a special meeting was held by all the living Holders.  Valadis, the current Master Healer for Pern, was named Holder of Harthfelt.
