History

In the year 1510, Ashllie was a member of the French Ambassador's party to Vienna. She had proven her valor in combat and was hired on as a mercenary to protect the Ambassador while journeying through the pagan lands.

Her true course of action was to infiltrate his party upon orders of the King and discover what the ambassador was really doing while on his foray's into allied and non-allied territories, for several potential alliances and trade agreements that seemed secure, somehow fell through, and yet the Ambassador managed to keep his pockets lined with gold, even though the king was not paying him.

During a dignitaries function at the Vienna Opera House, they met with several high ranking Nobles of the City, one of which happened to be Lord Tamanier DeVille, who was a major Lord of the outside lands of Vienna.

For the most part, they spoke of Vienna and Paris and how she became a part of an Ambassador's entourage. (A major thing in those days, which raised several eyebrows). He was polite, charming and insightful, a refreshing change for her as compared to spending evenings around a campfire with illiterate fools who just happened to be good with a sword or mace. He was also reading her thoughts. Whenever he mentioned her current employer, she became suspicious that he knew of her real reason for being here. He read this and searched deeper, and did discover her actual identity. A Spy for the King of France.

She left with him that evening, invited with the Ambassador to Lord DeVille's apartment in the city for more detailed discussion of the evenings agreements. It was on the way there that their carriage was attacked by "vagabonds" (hired of course) who killed the French Ambassador, leaving his body in the gutter. Dominated into silence, Ashllie was taken back to the apartment.

It was there that Ashllie was Embraced, and thereby becoming a part of the illustrious Tremere Clan. Upon awakening, she fell in love with her Sire, totally unprecedented, and not all together wanted, but she could not help herself. However, the love was not returned by him. He had become cold and emotionless. However, the fracture of sorrow unfathomable in his eyes gave her hope. Form that point, she vowed to faithfully serve him in hopes of one day proving herself worthy of his attention.

She claims she is long past that idea, and has moved on. However, seeing them together, when they rarely are, her eyes soften and she has a slight, enigmatic smile on her lips...
