Dialogue 41

Hello Richard - March 21, 1999
I did receive an answer to this prayer, but it was not the answer that I expected,
  1. Vj ~ Prayers don't work the way you were taught. What you prayed for is wrong, but it is not the reason for your present predicament. Your religion is false and so is your God. Your prayer was not a prayer in the first place.

I have learned over the years that my prayers are not to change the heart or mind of God, but instead to change my heart.

  2. Vj ~ My guess you had a heart transplant. If you had learned it over the years you would not have prayed in such away. It shows that Christianity is not a reliable source of righteousness since it couldn't prevent you from doing it.

My intention was not to provoke fear. My intention was to show you your need.

  3. Vj ~ It is a common trait of Christianity, whatever your intentions were, the gullible would not have seen it any other way. Christians try to change others when they themselves need to change.

It is your belief that you can conquer your sins yourself. (Actually, if I remember correctly, you believe that you are without sin.)

  4. Vj ~ No, I am not free of sin, but I know this much that if I don't acquire the wisdom to rid myself to seek a sinfree life, no one else is going to do it for me, bearing in mind that the good work continues in my next life.

I apologize for the prayer that I prayed against you. That prayer was not the will of God, and I prayed it out of my own human desire. While my intentions were laudable, my ends were not the way that God would have me to act.

  5. Vj ~ There is no need to apologize, it does no good to me. You on the other hand, might think you can be forgiven, but such is not the case. Sins are not forgiven, but you can strive for true knowledge, which is the only cure for what is to come. It doesn't cancel anything but it makes you stronger to face it.

While my intentions were laudable, my ends were not the way that God would have me to act. God has told me that I am to pray for blessing for you and to ask your forgiveness. Vj, I am sorry that I asked God that bad things would happen to you. I ask that you would forgive me for it, and instead allow me to ask God to bless you instead.

  6. Vj ~ Even if you asked God to bless me He won't either. He didn't listen to you the first time and He is not going to listen to you again or ever. Blessings come through our own effort in seeking his wisdom. Then and only then we ask Him for nothing but instead, thank Him. Neither can I forgive you nor God. A man reaps what he sows, no more and no less.

Vijai may you have grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

  7. Vj ~ Save your breath Richard, to me your God the father is nothing else but a “thug in the sky” and Christ a bastard (born out of wedlock) or another chimp in the zoo.

Maybe he is just saying ‘No’.

  8. Vj ~ God says no such thing to anyone. He has nothing to say since He has already given His revelation, the Vedas, to instruct us on the rewards of morals, and the punishment for sins. All He does throughout His creation is dispensing justice which is clearly marked by the pain and suffering of this world. Had you not prayed such a prayer, you would have still suffered because you are a follower of false god. I am quite sure you were not the only one with a bad bout of an illness in the hospital and they didn't even know me.

Hello Kathy - March 21, 1999
When I was young, about 100 years or so ago,
  1. Vj ~ Then you are as blessed as Sarah to have children for God himself, that late in life.

Now, I have shared something very personal with you,

  2. Vj ~ How selfish of you Kathy, while I was giving you all my personal wisdom from the beginning you are now starting. Please don't write too much I don't read it, how nice of me to save you the time. Thanks.

    Hello Kathy - March 21, 1999
I know, I'm a bad bad person for picking on you.

  3. Vj ~ I always warned you, that Christianity has steady moments of failure when you think of me instead of Christ. Ask Richard he knows better. My advice, get rid of the mediator before it is too late.

    Hello Kathy - March 21, 1999
There does not exist a category of science to which one can give the name applied science.

  4. Vj ~ Quite true, if never investigated beyond the Bible.

There are science and the applications of science, bound together as the fruit of the tree which bears it

  5. Vj ~ Isn't it strange the Biblical God sent Christians ethics and morals, if you can call it that, and yet the most intricate part of their lives where complex science plays a major role, they can just pick it from a tree somewhere in the backyard.

    Hello Kathy - March 23, 1999
    Wow! I am in tears!

  6. Vj ~ What more do you need to abandon Christ? All that lunatic of God has brought you and Richard, is tears, sorrow and frustration.

You don't read my posts! I read yours.

  7. Vj ~ Yours (false religion) have already led me to true religion, now you must read mine to acquire the same results.

I take time to analysis how I should respond and THEN, I even hunt down books to aid in my replies!

  8. Vj ~ Now that your analysis, books and God have failed you, it shows how worthless they are.

I'll tell you what... I want you to go to this web site and download this program. It's free for one months time and it will read text for you. Here is the address: http://www.willowpond.com

  9. Vj ~ I'll tell you what... I want you to go to this web site and download this book. It's free for as long as you want and it will bring freedom to the caged miserable condition of your soul.

Sometimes you must copy and paste to the script text, but thats really no biggy.

  10. Vj ~ Sometimes you can cut and paste to reason in order to develop a functional intellect, that's really a biggy! But you are good at researching anyway and that should help.

Ohhh boy, the popularity you have acquired just in these past few days has really gone to your arrogance.

  11. Vj ~ I was even popular before I came to this board, but now that you have found some enlightenment through my method of critical thinking, you have now come to notice my popularity. Thanks!

You know I can fix that for you. . It wouldn't take much effort really.

  12. Vj ~ Actually I don't know of any Christian who couldn't. I can see it everday where those hypocrites like Benny Hinn, Oral Roberts and Pat Robertson are giving quick-fixes to the cripled, blind, deaf and it won't be long before they start raising the dead. You could be in luck. Can you immagine getting a chance to die twice and if they are really good at it, you and them will never have to die with the rapture soon coming.

All that is required is for you to get down on your knees, claps your hands together, bring out a cry from your aching heart and soul to the one and only true God, to forgive!

  13. Vj ~ If your god is located somewhere up there, why do Christians have to go down? Must be very tough for those Christians with severe bouts of arthritis and rheumatism.

That's it, not too hard and almost pain free.

  14. Vj ~ Is it? It is a pity that you didn't tell this to Richard, you could have saved him a lot of pain.

Hello James68 - March 23, 1999
I've learned its okay to question your faith now and then.
  1. Vj ~ You really haven't learnt much. Unlike Christianity, true religion has nothing to hide and one is free to question it always. This is why it is known as a faith in harmony with reasoning and science and in conformity with natural laws. You must question it with an open mind and the desire to learn and acquire good reasoning habits.

This is how you learn more about your faith and you give it a validation test.

  2. Vj ~ It is how we learn of all faiths and come to the knowledge of those that are totally blind.

You might want to try it. You may just learn something.

  3. Vj ~ I did and I found true religion by it. You should try it also instead of ranting and raviing like a brainless twit.

Oh wise one of the far east. India taking credit for being the foundation for all civilization

  4. Vj ~ Today all sciences, specifically the science of space, has been possible because of the grammar of Panini (Sanskrit). The Germans were the first to study it and their scientists took it to Russia, England and United States after the war. And oh! Sanskrit did not come from Rome. It would serve you better to do some research rather than trying to figure out how adulterers and murderers get to heaven.

None of those so called Gods can save that country.

  5. Vj ~ True, but she has got the one thing, that will bring civility to the world after all this madness is over. And who says you or your country is saved? Christ hasn't done so for even his vicar, the Pope, stricken with incurable diseases what is expected when you or your country's turn comes?

When you see Christians, all your country wants to do is hack them up.

  6. Vj ~ It shows that if what they have (Hinduism) isn’t working, don't try to instill something worst.

Whenever someone takes the initiative to save your motherland from certain turmoil, they are killed for there attempt (Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948).

  7. Vj ~ If Christians did not occupy and subjugate his country, there would have been no need for the Mahatama. If he is a saint (martyr), it is because of Christian tyranny.

Although there was a woman in Calcutta that died recently that made more difference in 10 years than the Government of India could ever do.

  8. Vj ~ And what good is there in prolonging their misery, by converting them with a promise of a heaven that isn't there. Besides who else is supposed to do it, since they are reincarnated souls of Christians (false religion) like you. Still she had doubts in her (your) God. She wrote in one of her letters to the Vatican.
“I am told God live in me - and yet the reality of darkness and coldness and emptiness is as great that nothing touches my soul." Mother Theresa
Now lets see how Hinduism had benefited your nation. All it has done is caused division in your countryman’s hearts.
  9. Vj ~ Maybe Christians can learn from Hinduism. Canada has a population of less than 30 million and I saw hundreds of the thousands of homeless people protesting their plight in Ottawa. Think of what would happen in Ottawa when your population reaches 1 billion. Unlike Christianity, Hindus know why they are suffering. It is the largest democracy in the world, a feat that can never be achieved by any other nation in the world. Democracy could never work in China, the next populous country; it would bring chaos. Whatever adverse conditions affect India and the world it is because of the rejection of the one true religion, and whatever advancement made in ethics, morals and sciences she still remains the source and deserves the credit.

When your pointing fingures at Christianity, like our previous discussion of politics, get your facts straight

  10. Vj ~ I do, unlike Christianity, Hindus were never guilty of invading and subjugating any other nation, enforcing their religion and until this day, they are steadfast in promoting non-violence without proselytizing, a fact.

You maybe wise in a few things,

  11. Vj ~ That is because you are in the clouds yet. How would you know what few things, when wisdom is not a requirement of Christianity?

Man, its fun talkin to you!

  12. Vj ~ It is even funnier listening to you, you should try it.

Hello James68 - March 24, 1999
Your beliefs freak the most faithful into submission.
  1. Vj ~ Maybe you haven't noticed, yours didn't help either.
"The advance of western civilization has been partly a story of gradual victory over oppressive religion, and these brilliant doubters were men and women who didn't pray, didn't kneel before altars, didn't make pilgrimages, didn't recite creeds." James A. Haught - "2000 years of Disbelief".

Our religion believes in a free will and everyone has a mind of its own.

  2. Vj ~ It is only belief and if belief was genuine Christians would not have enslaved or subjugate people (blacks and natives) who had free will of their own.

If you do, it has to be a much better place than where you or your folks came from.

  3. Vj ~ If you call rape, stealing, kidnapping, child-molesting (by Christian priests), murder, drug abusers, adultery, incest and false religion, better.

One day the nation will bow to Christ the King of Kings that isnt a choice. That is a reality.

  4. Vj ~ He had his one day and he was crucified. The age has begun where believers of false religions are realing in pain and misery. It is a reality already.

To be a Christian requires works. "Faith without works is dead."-James.

  5. Vj ~ Your quote is in contradiction to redemption, repentance and forgiveness. It can never be both. It means one who never did any works cannot ask for redemption. Put your lame brain to work amigo. I know it is not an easy task for a Christian, but you have to try.

street people, elderly, people in prison who have/dont have families, relatives of inmates, those who are challenged,

  6. Vj ~ Why these people suffer if your Christ is so compassionate and merciful?

Your analogy is invalid this is why I didnt feel like answering it since like talking to the south end of a north bound camel.

  7. Vj ~ Sounds more like the fool who makes a fool of God.

Regardless of the foolish analogy you are just in question as I am of your faith.

  8. Vj ~ Even a jackass can say the samething, but how would he know it is in question, if he knows nothing of my religion.

    I like you!

  9. Vj ~ Not much good, if you don't know how ignorant you are.

Hello Kathy - March 24, 1999
I found this very interesting, and it didn't take that long to research.
  1. Vj ~ It seems you have now reached, where I began.

Determined by chance, whim, or impulse, and not by necessity,

  2. Vj ~ And this is all I have read in the end. All ethics, morals and sciences are God's revelation and it was all revealed 3,774,000 years ago, long before your false Bible, which was revealed by some maniac on Mount Sanai. When the west was stuck on the number "9", it was Vedic theology that gave them the answer "0" to continue. Go get 'em kiddo!

    Hello rseigler - March 26, 1999
Maybe you should learn cause and effect a little better Vj.

  3. Vj ~ If you truly understand cause and effect you won't be waiting for the return of Christ. Whatever is an effect was created and therefore finite. All things finite must come to an end or die and cannot come back or become eternal. This includes your precious Jesus. Another problem you have, is your world (effect) began without a material (cause).

However, once the faith is there, the natural course for that faith is to produce good works.

  4. Vj ~ Sounds more like this God created pain and misery for many to produce "good works" as natural. What did those innocent souls do to be inflicted with pain and misery to begin with?

Jesus said "Today you will be with me in paradise." Obviously this thief didn't have the chance to do any good works. So if he can't do any good works, then if works are required, then how can Jesus say that he will be saved? He cannot, therefore works are not required.

  5. Vj ~ It is exactly what I am saying all along, that even a fool without any effort for knowledge or works gets into heaven. Therefore, my point that "a fool makes a fool of God" stands.

So back to one of your original questions, why do good works? Why do fish swim? Because it is part of their nature.

  6. Vj ~ It still doesn't make any sense, a fish just doesn't swim at sometime in its life as one becomes a born-again Christian where it is 'natural' to do good works.

I'm not saying that a Christian must ask for forgiveness every day. That is a one time deal.

  7. Vj ~ Some one is misinterpreting the Bible, the Roman Catholics and some other sects of the Bible confess everyday. What truth can come from a book when so many who believe and read everday, are so divided?

It is the process of becoming Christ-like that takes time.

  8. Vj ~ The process is still unjust for those in regions who never heard of Christ. I don’t see it as necessary, since the thief who went to paradise with Christ didn’t have much time. It seems to me that your bible was written by thieves and vagabonds who desperately wanted to get to heaven.

We ususally call these people "hypocrites".

  9. Vj ~ And what would you call one who says "I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life, NO ONE comes to the FATHER except through ME" John 14:6 when many in remote regions haven’t heard of him?

If I missed anything, I'm sure you'll let me know.

  10. Vj ~ You are sure of it because you know Christians always miss and yet you hold on to such hypocrisy.

How do you know that God doesn't speak to me?

  11. Vj ~ Simple, you are being misled and God does not mislead and secondly only a foolish God would speak to a fool.

Maybe the reason you haven't heard him is because you've never taken the time to listen?

  12. Vj ~ One who talks to God is ignorant, had it not been so, what other reasons are there to speak to him. God is all-wise and does not speak to the ignorant. On the other hand, since a wise man is already wise what more would he need from God, but thanking Him.

P.S. God is all-pure and will never listen to anyone who eats a cow.

Hello Rseigler - March 27, 1999
It sounds like you have not thought through this statement very well.
  1. Vj ~ What danger can there be in it for me when it is only “sounds” from the unsounded?

Let us assume that God is infinite (and you have given me nothing to lead me to think that you would believe otherwise).

  2. Vj ~ You continue to display your ignorance without any shame. How can God speak to a man who only assumes that He is infinite?

Therefore since God is infinite, and God is all-wise, there must be an infinite amount of knowledge.

  3. Vj ~ If it was not an assumption, you could have proven your God worthless.

However, men are by their natures finite creatures.

  4. Vj ~ So how come you are awaiting the return of Christ? How many times does a finite man dies? It seems you don't even understand the meaning of the word "finite" let alone man or God's wisdom.

Being finite creatures, men can only understand a finite amount of information.

  5. Vj ~ Agreed, but Christians do not even need a finite amount of information to go heaven which means they are all going as fools and the God who lets fools into his heaven is nothing but a fool also. Then again, how can a finite amount of information (action) lead a Christian to eternal rewards?

Now, any school child knows that when you subtract a finite amount from an infinite amount, you are left with an infinite amount.

  6. Vj ~ Any school child knows that the finite man (body) dies also, but you idiots brainwashed these kids to believe that they can return from the dead and live for all eternity.

So when you subtract the wisdom of the wisest man in the world from the infinite wisdom of God, the wise man is left with an infinite amount of things to learn.

  7. Vj ~ It is obvious by your own claim that you are neither God nor wise, so why are you doing the subtracting? Can a kid who doesn't know how to substract, substract?

Since the wise man now has to learn everything, he has in effect learned nothing, and is an idiot.

  8. Vj ~ The only idiot I see is you, since you don't have wisdom, it simply means you have no idea of God's wisdom, so how would you know what to add or subtract?

So now then we are left with a dilemma.

  9. Vj ~ Of course, you are the dilemma.

If God does not speak to the ignorant, like you claim, then God has not spoken to anyone, since we are all idiots.

  10. Vj ~ That includes Christ and all the other adulterous and incestous prophets of your bible. Its becoming a huge dilemma now.

However, if God does speak to the ignorant, then he would be willing to speak to anyone at all.

  11. Vj ~ No, it means He is ignorant also.

    Do not be fooled, Vj.

  12. Vj ~ You are so deep in shit that you don't even know if you going or coming. What advice can you give to me?

While you say that your logic does not support Christianity, it can not support your religion any better.

  13. Vj ~ You know nothing of logic how would you know what it supports or not.

Hello James68 - March 27, 1999
Funny Dr Sing, you never challenged my input seeing.. .
  1. Vj ~ Those who failed to act like grown men, I usually give them the benefit of the doubt.

"(but you’re like an old hen who has to put the last words in no matter if its just simply your last defiance as an insult to my intelligence)".

  2. Vj ~ I hope you are enjoying the last words, since a fool has no intelligence.

    Hello ShareenB - March 28, 1999
Namaste Vj, Ive gladly finished reading this board..May God Bless you and your family..

  3. Vj ~ I am happy for you Shareen, and may God inspire you to greater knowledge. May your family also derive such good benefits

    Keep up the good work

  4. Vj ~ It is you who have made it good and a great lesson for others to follow. Whatever the condition we are born into, it is God's Divine justice and to remain there without seeking other truths is a travesty to the human soul. It also shows that you are a splendid example of openmindedness and this is the quality one must acquire to seek further truth.

You really inspire me..Peace and Love

  5. Vj ~ May you be an inspiration to others also.

    Hello Katches - March 31, 1999
Hey vj! I have been busy preparing a special web page for you. Just putting the finnishing touches on it. I'm sure your going to be surprised!

  6. Vj ~ The only surprise is that you are still going to hell inspite of it.

You and what-her-name appear to be chummy!

  7. Vj ~ The wise, though few, think alike.

Does she know that the God we are to worship has much to say and it can be read in the Holy Bible?

  8. Vj ~ She is not having a problem with what is said, but what your God is capable of; since he impregnated Sarah and the Virgin Mary, the same can happen to her. A bigger problem is how she will ever be able to convince her husband since angels do not appear anymore.

Hey VJ... check out my art work... http://pages.prodigy.net/kathyatcheson/vj%20water.jpg so what do ya think?

  9. Vj ~ Great! But who is the lifeguard that saved the idiot? Think of how many millions of innocent people that could have been saved from persecution, inquisition and slavery had he drowned then.
Dialogue 48

Hello Kathy - April 01, 1999
Vj-The only surprise is that you are still going to hell inspite of it.
Kathy responds... why would you think this?
  1. Vj ~ I know, not "think" this! The consistent worship of a false God (Jesus).

Vj-The wise, though few, think alike.
Kathy responds... must get pretty darn boring around the camp fire.

  2. Vj ~ The wise are vegetarians, they have no meat to roast and therefore need no camp fire which is a place where bored fools (Christians) make a lot of noise.

She is not having a problem with what is said, but what he is capable of; since he impregnated Sarah and the Virgin Mary, the same can happen to her. A bigger problem is how she will ever be able convince her husband since angels do not appear anymore.
Kathy responds... God didn't impregnate Sarah, Abraham did. He only allowed it to happen in and at an unlikely age.

  3. Vj ~ Had he allowed it when she was young, which is the most appropiate time to have a baby, Abraham perhaps would not have committed adultery. Thus, the intolerant religion of Islam would not have been born (Ishmael) to bring shame, disgrace and misery to this world. Has it every cross your mind that any idiot that acts with such stupidy cannot be called God?

Matthew chapter 19 verse 14 records: Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

  4. Vj ~ It speaks only of your regret at growing up. Seems you have missed the kingdom of heaven by forty-five years.

Hope ya have a great day! I know I will.

  5. Vj ~ Even though you are not child anymore?

    Hello Kathy - April 02, 1999
okay, so we are speaking in secret code. Here is how I do mine... God="the big "G" Loves=L-u=v you=u Your turn...

  6. Vj ~ Ok my turn:
God made love with the Virgin Mary
Cain made love with his sister
Abraham made love with is housemaid
Lot made love with his two daughters.
David and Solomon made love with their many wives and concubines.
The bible has a lot of "love" to go around.
Did this God made love to you yet Kathy?

how could you know if they were fools? Have you participated in this kind of entertainment?

  7. Vj ~ The same way I know your invisible God must have had a penis to impregnate Mary.

the truth is, my childhood was something I choose to place far back in my mind because of painful memories, and I can't remember back that far until 2000 around summer time.

  8. Vj ~ Shouldn't be difficult to remember you had a penis and what is your explanation for not using it like the other guys when they are also in heaven with you?
Dialogue 49
Back to contents

Hello Katches - April 03, 1999
Actually the Bible doesn't say how Mary was physically inseminated only that through divine power she had received the seed of a celestial creator.
  1. Vj ~ Since it opposes reason and natural laws couldn't the Bible be wrong (false)?

It doesn't specifically say that Cain made love to anyone.

  2. Vj ~ Do I have to spell it out for your clouded brain? He had to cohabit with someone, either his sister or his mother since they were the only women around. Couldn't the Bible be wrong again to place an omniscient God in such a precarious situation?

Only the logical mind assumes so.

  3. Vj ~ And why do you think that logic is not necessary to ascertain truth?

Which leads one to wonder if Solomon's actions were not somehow a projection of David's heritage, and not those prescribed by God through the prophets.

  4. Vj ~ So where did David got his? Perhaps Abraham?

As for myself, the answer is an obvious one, and your suggestion is obvious too!

  5. Vj ~ It is obvious too, that you made no comments on Abraham and Lot's 'divine' immoral actions. Was it too much sex to handle in one day? Or is there fear of the Bible being easily portrayed as a sex manual for your God and his band of ‘holy’ rogues?

There are no known actual physical attributes we can visualize when speaking of a divine being.

  6. Vj ~ Then, how do you account for physical reproductive element, the only cause of conception?

Therefore, it is foolish to anticipate that His presents would include reproductive organs

  7. Vj ~ Isn't is also foolish to believe that no other human was born that way, which also opposes the law of conception?

It is my understanding however that since the Bible records His creations being established through only His word, and nothing more, that perhaps this is not a divine trait.

  8. Vj ~ Then isn't it logical to believe the bible, is really not his word, since it violates not only his attribute of Omnisciency but also natural laws?

Vj- Shouldn't be difficult to remember you had a penis and what is your explanation for not using it like the other guys when they are also in heaven with you?
Kathy responds: Only someone who is relying on his own personal experience would make such a statement.

  9. Vj ~ The same goes for the authors of the Bible since they were the first to write it. I am merely repeating their stories of the immoral events of your precious 'holy word'.

My humble apologies... Solomon was the son of David. However the reverse order continues to hold the same projection.

  10. Vj ~ Had there not been so many immoralties within divine instructions you would not have had to apologize. Seek the truth I offer and you would be with the true God instead of using up a life time defending a false god and his bands of lustful sex maniacs.

Hello Katches- April 04, 1999
It will probably be better this way.
  1. Vj ~ Trying to impress me as a fast learner, eh! How come you haven't grasp anything I have said so far?

I wouldn't want you to hurt those wisdom molecules within your naturalistic brain.

  2. Vj ~ Too bad it cannot be transplanted.

But perhaps you might want to know, that it took me no time at all to reply.

  3. Vj ~ It wouldn't matter anyway, since the time saved would be spent defending those immoral dim-wits in the Bible.

    You’re an easy study.

  4. Vj ~ How could I be, I have never committed adultery, incest or murder?

Wasn't it good of me to let you in on that.

  5. Vj ~ It was good to remind you that such immoral actions are neither acts of pious men nor a God that condones it, a wise God.

A clever child brought up with a foolish one can itself become foolish

  6. Vj ~ You are good example of such a child and your children a good example of you, a foolish one.

Man is so perfectable and corruptible he can become a fool through good sense.

  7. Vj ~ It is exactly the way I see it with all the characters of the Bible. Even Clinton justified his immoral actions by the immoral characters of the bible. He said they were prophets and they were forgiven so why can't he. Should the President loose his job over adultery, then it would make sense for Christians to burn the bible since no prophet ceased becoming a prophet because of it. Christianity has no cure and worst yet, it can never prevent.

    Hello Katches - April 07, 1999
The President as any other is judged by courts of law.

  8. Vj ~ It seems your court of law, like the Bible, is also in serious trouble since it could not come to an agreement based on moality or the illegality of the event.

    Ultimately judged by his creator.

  9. Vj ~ That’s even worst than your court of law, since he can easily ask for forgiveness.

We stand alone when approaching this judgement.

  10. Vj ~ It should not pose a serious problem, since repentence or redemption is there to bail us out.

No one is there defending our place with the acception of Jesus Christ, who knows the sins of man.

  11. Vj ~ And who is defending Jesus?

Burning the Bible doesn't take away the reality that God exists and that His words can be read in that Bible, even when the pages are violated.

  12. Vj ~ No, but it will save millions from pain and misery because they follow blindly the nonsense it contains,

Jesus Christ was the last prophet named, this a fitting tribute to His success in God's promise to humankind.

  13. Vj ~ Maybe you haven't heard of Mohammad and the Bah'u'lah? If Jesus is fitting tribute by testament of the Bible why not the others by their books also?

VJ, I'm smiling right now and I want you to know why... your last paragraph is all I took time to read!

  14. Vj ~ Interesting enough, you spent the time over a sex maniac, who had 9 wives consecutively, one was his daughter-in-law and another nine year old child (Aeisha). I can tell how much you miss the sexually depraved of the bible. Still smiling I hope! On the other hand, it would be best that you do all your smiling now, since your later years and next life you wouldn't have any reason to.

Hello Katches - April 08, 1999
sex maniac? Are you speeking of Mohammad? Actually I didn't even know this!
  1. Vj ~ Why not? The Bible was around in his time also. Where else could he have learned that polygamy and adultery are ‘divine’ actions fit for paradise?

My best smile will be when I see God and Jesus Christ.

  2. Vj ~ Think of the Muslims who are also saving their best smiles for Mohammad, Allah and better yet their 72 virgins.

I'm certain this will generate enough beaming glory to last an eternity.

  3. Vj ~ I don’t know of a Christian who can stay up 24 hours for the “beaming glory” of the Bible muchless eternity. I am quite sure you are positive that the Muslims will not be denied that generation of beaming glory through their Paradise while their view is that Christians are going to hell. I, on the other hand, view both yours and theirs as false since they are both the origin of mediators. Their messages or books oppose each other, breech the immutable laws of nature and God's attributes. They are neither in harmony with reasoning nor science. The Vedic method of ascertaining truth is by far the superior formula.

    Hello Katches - April 09, 1999
The Vedic method of ascertaining truth is by far the superior formula.
All in all, your superior "hope" is nothing more than just that.

  4. Vj ~ True, for the ignorant, it is just that.

A faith in what you hope is the truth.

  5. Vj ~ True a again, only a complete brainwashed idiot would make such a statement after 236 posts which proves my earlier point that even God as no cure for a fool.

No more convincing than any other "religious" philosophy.

  6. Vj ~ If you are content being a fool why should it be more convincing? It is obvious that only the Vedic religion can boldly criticize all other religions in a constructive manner.

In addition, are there not contradictions in nature that would make a philosophy based on these specifics somewhat bias and unclear?

  7. Vj ~ It is bias and unclear by false dogmas and never by a truth based on reasoning guided by the correct knowledge which is in harmony with science and in conformity with natural laws.

Katches responds... Oh, Hello! Can you guess why I'm so cheerful today?

  8. Vj ~ Only today you are cheerful, what happen yesterday? Be like me Kathy, cheerful everyday even on the day my mother died. Can't beat that can you? True knowledge is the destroyer of sentiments and emotions two deadly sins.

Hello Katches - April 10, 1999
in death to a Christian, mourning loss is common and very healthy.
  1. Vj ~ How on earth is mourning healthy? Grief is a sickness deserving of fools who are succumbed by it.

We greive for our loss, yet rejoice if our knowledge is secure in that the one leaving us, is now at a resting place close to our Lord and creator.

  2. Vj ~ Sounds more like ignorance. If they are secured with the Lord and Creator aren't they better off than those who are still alive and go astray, so why grieve for the dead?

You have deluded yourself into believing that it is frail and faulty to choose deep imotions for a loss.

  3. Vj ~ It is the followers of false religions who are deluded. No wonder there is so much fear of dying. No one knows for certain if there is a heaven except of what the irrational Bible speaks of. What sensible person can rely on that for truth?

An uneasy and unsettling part of life that many have experienced or will. I grieved with many tears on my fathers passing a gentle and kind man.

  4. Vj ~ So was my mother but I understand her part in this creation and that her soul would be embodied again depending on her past actions good or bad. And to bring a wise soul as mine into this world, could be nothing short of virtuousness on her part. I knew from a very early age she would leave me one day and so I prepared myself for her departure without grief.

A man who's faith in God brought him to a place of comfort when he knew death was near for him. With that thought I feel much pride in his courage. It also brings me closer in a relationship with my God, knowing my dad chose this as a resting place and that God has him safely in His care.

  5. Vj ~ All souls are in the care of God whether it be that of human or animals and vegetation. They are in each catagories embodied in those conditions because of past virtuous and sinful actions. Your father was a follower of a false religion (God) and perhaps ate animals all his life too. Besides you never know his private life what sins really occurred. Such an impure soul is nowhere near an All-Blissful God. You will end up the same way also unless you can do better starting now.

You have much to learn about in sentiment and emotion I fear.

  6. Vj ~ You have much to learn of the soul also. It is what you don't know of sentiment and emotion, that will hurt you. The fear grows.

Be warned that when you dare to ignore what is deep within your heart, the care you show others and yourself will be short changed.

  7. Vj ~ Beware that what is all deep in your heart can be transplanted out of you one day. Then what? It is what you put into the intellect by the correct knowledge that frees the soul of pain and misery.

Grief at the absence of a loved one is happiness compared to life with a person one hates.

  8. Vj ~ Both are equally dangerous to sound learning and an impediment in the journey to free the soul.

Hello Katches - May 06, 1999
suffering can be tolerated only when we are able to find meaning in that suffering.
  1. Vj ~ If the meaning cannot tell us why we suffer what good is it or the bible?

Suffering presents us with a challenge: to find goals and purpose in our lives that make even this situation worth living through.

  2. Vj ~ Of what purpose would it serve if these goals are hindered by constant suffering?

Our choice to answer that challenge can give meaning to the pain and agony we feel.

  3. Vj ~ There is only one meaning for the cause of pain and suffering and Christianity does not have the answer but the cause. Christians will forever moan and groan without knowing it because they are bigots who would reject the truth when it comes their way.

The Virgin Mary did.. Hi Katches,
Almost everyone I know would never go as far as this to get God's attention.

  4. Vj ~ The Virgin Mary must have exposed herself somehow to drag God (His attention) into a lustful affair.

    Hello Katches - May 07, 1999
The time of Mary's conception was somewhat different than it is now. You can't actually go public with a pregnacy out of wedlock and live to tell about it.

  5. Vj ~ Could have fooled me, Lot's daughters got away with it and lived and this was even earlier when righteousness was abound.

On top of that consider the penalty for even the suggestion that you might have had relations with "God". When Jesus claimed he was God, there were those looking to linch Him right on the spot.

  6. Vj ~ Even now, one cannot claim one is God unless one wants to be the idiot of the town. In those days all being idiots, they turned to killing which they succeeded at.

Nope, don't think Mary or any half way intellegent person would want to mess around that path.

  7. Vj ~ How else she got pregnant?

Considering one more time, that Mary managed to keep Jesus successfully for 30 years out of harms way, she must have had some pretty good brain cells working in her favor.

  8. Vj ~ You can say that again, to seduce God was no easy task.

    Hello Katches - May 16, 1999
    Vj-How else she got pregnant?
    Kathy responds... through divine intervention.

  9. Vj ~ Mohammad's Q'uran is more a recent divine intervention, how come you care too hoots about it?

You can say that again, to seduce God was no easy task.
Katches responds... I'm guessing with this kind of low and ignorant statement you havn't a clue to what infinant supreme being you are slandering nor would you know if you encounter Him.

  10. Vj ~ Any God that commits such a low and dispicable act is not only false, but deserving of low and ignorant statements.

Tisk... Tick... it's really too bad VJ I kind of liked you.

  11. Vj ~ You should if you are a lover of the bible since our discussion is based wholly on it alone. Now look at what this God has done, causing dislikes among his fellow humankind. Anyway look at the bright side, I will always continue to love all mankind. Such is the power of the true God of the Vedas.

Hello Katches - May 19, 1999
Vj-Mohammad's Q'uran was a more recent divine intervention, how come you care too hoots about it?
katches - Both Jesus Christ and Mohammad are considered prophets to their constituant structure. In weighing the two against the other one needs only to define to himself/herself: What is the truest test of a Prophet!
  1. Vj ~ The truest test of a Prophet is the one who can amass the greatest amount of fools as followers in the shortest time.

Vj-Any God that commits such a low and dispicable act is not only false, but deserving of a low and ignorant statement.
Katches - even an accussed killer has an opportunity to face his charge in shortcommings. Perhaps you might give a formal list of wrongdoings to substaintiate your claims?

  2. Vj ~ The Bible is filled of many instances where this God committed acts of incest, adultery, murder and theft. He were many times infuriated by his own ignorant actions.

Vj-Now look at what this God has done, causing dislikes among his fellow humankind. Anyway look at the bright side, I will always continue to love all mankind. Such is the power of the true God of the Vedas.
Katches - What kind of love is it you wish to project when expressess hatred and discord for anything contrary to that nesciant and disagreeable sentiment view of yours?

  3. Vj ~ The love for my fellow humankind that when they are being misled by false religion, I bring them true religion. What more can I say?

    Hello Katches - May 22, 1999
Wilbur Smith, who compiled a personal library of 25000 volumes,..

  4. Vj ~ If you look hard you would also find Jewish, Hindu, Muslim or Buddhist scholars who have done the same on behalf of their own. So what does this prove?

concludes that “whatever one may think of the authority of and the message presented in the book we call the Bible,

  5. Vj ~ Any 'great thinker' who regards the Bible as an authority is totally deluded to the truth of reasoning, natural laws and science and is therefore, mentally infirmed, the product of incest.

there is world-wide agreement that in more ways than one it is the most remarkable volume that has ever been produced in these some five thousand years of writing on the part of the human race.

  6. Vj ~ Speaking of the human race that started with incest, the cause of mental infirmity has absconded the intellect to the point of failing to recognize the existence of the human race long before 5,000 years ago.

Hello Katches - May 25, 1999
Katches - retarded? Where are you coming from when you derived from such an incredibale ignorant statement such as this?
  1. Vj ~ From incest the leading cause of all infirmities! It is a fact, and the first ignorant step taken to bring about this statement is the creation of one man and one woman.

I have a brother who was born Subnormal intellectual development or functioning that is the result of congenital causes, brain injury, or disease and is characterized by any of various deficiencies, ranging from impaired learning ability to social and vocational inadequacy.

  2. Vj ~ You have the same problem also, what other reason is there to believe in such lunacy as the Bible?

Katches - in short mental retardation.

  3. Vj ~ Again, if you feel compunction for him, then you must hold your God in deep contempt for his infirmed condition, unless he can give you good reason for creating him so

Growing up he was chastized by so many hateful people who slammed into him with ugly words such as retarded.

  4. Vj ~ Again, it is the failure of Christianity to teach "hateful people" the truth of pain and suffering. Had they been taught the truth of sinful actions of past births, it would have made them more serious to investigate the lesson of infirmity (pain and suffering). But why should they when there is redemption to lead them to salvation.

This innocent and highly trustworth boy could never have harmed not even a single hair on any of their heads because of his wonderful character.

  5. Vj ~ If he is innocent shouldn't your ‘all-wise’ God’s justice be questioned for his infirmed condition?

He would have embraced each one of those people had they given themselves the chance to explore his world.

  6. Vj ~ There is much to explore in his world (condition), if it can be seen as a deterence to sin, but such is not the case with false religions where sins are forgiven.

katches - and so would the Christian people do for you.

  7. Vj ~ What good is an embrace, when Christianity cannot prevent pain and misery? By embracing the truth of the one true religion one is cured of all pain and miseries of this world. If you cannot find this truth there is nothing an embrace can do from me or you.

Hello Spiritualguide - January 20, 1999
No one can go wrong. All we can do is make our own beds & lie in them.
  1. Vj ~ Not so, when God can personally intervene to help some to lie in other beds besides their own.

    God's laws are imutable.

  2. Vj ~ If it is, how come sins are forgiven, a finite actions reaps eternal awards and women can conceive without the reproductive element?

We may only experience consequences of actions until our actions produce the consequences we desire.

  3. Vj ~ And who desires pain and misery? If you think our actions are the result of good things, then what may I ask is the cause of pain and misery?

In this timeless life, His grace abounds, none perish,

  4. Vj ~ How can you be so blind to the pain and misery of billions in this world today? Aren't destitution and diseases, poverty and hunger signs of people perishing?

while deligating me with your judgement, "fact of fool".

  5. Vj ~ What else can be the judgement after your foolish statements of a God who would breech is own attributes and laws to please fools?

Perhaps if you would listen to others, you'd learn that God expresses in them.

  6. Vj ~ And what did God expressed through me, if you were listening?

I smile at your boyish beauty & am glad for what you've yet to learn.

  7. Vj ~ Enjoy my “boyish beauty” but you must know that there is nothing to learn to become a fool.

For, what other purpose would eternity serve, if not to reveal all truth, to those who do not choose to see.

  8. Vj ~ And how is the blind going to see? If this is the purpose of eternity then it makes no difference being a fool or an intelligent being. There is no incentive to practice morality. What would civilization be today if there were no laws to deter us from crimes?

    Vj- (spirit...in your face):-)

  9. Vj ~ If it works better in the face why not try it and give your behind a rest.

    Hello reframk - January 20, 1999
it "will all end" when humanity systematicly abandons the BELIEF based life choice process, that supports ALL of these metaphysical myths.

  10. Vj ~ And when is that? The pains and miseries exist forcefully because of these "myths". How is it going to end?

When one focus of their belief fails to deliver what they 'believe' they are intitled to, they find another belief to focus on, ETC..

  11. Vj ~ Very true, and when the truth shows up they are so brainwashed, that they can't see it. I truly do not expect it to be better than this since even in righteousness there is decadence - a law.

Only when and if humanity systematicly abandons belief as the basis for their life choice process, and systematicly creates a practical abiltiy for reason based life choice making; will ALL of this UN-HUMANE metaphysical believing end.

  12. Vj ~ It is only correct knowledge (a faith in harmony with science and conformity with natural laws) can change this, but you have a good point - how can they ever reason to be guided by this knowledge.

Hello ghama- January 21, 1999
    Satan is such a liar.
  1. Vj ~ How could he since he does not exist, unless you need some one to blame for your ignorance?

I wish people would wake up and realize this. Satan only comes to "steal, kill, and destroy.

  2. Vj ~ Maybe they would if you would first wake up.

He is nobody's friend. He HATES everything that God Loves

  3. Vj ~ Seems you are no different when it comes to hating (Satan) either.

And since GOD loves us, and gave His Son for us, then that means Satan hates us too.

  4. Vj ~ If God loves us, why did he create Satan in the first place?

    Hello rocket boy - January 23, 1999
Vj ~Seems you are in good shape my friend, exactly what would be needed (a rocket) when you find out there is no heaven.

Satan is a LOOSER,,I mean, to get kick out of heaven.

  5. Vj ~ It simple shows that Christian eternal salvation is not guaranteed, since one can be kicked out from heaven at anytime.

God THREW him out, like lightning hitting the ground, ...

  6. Vj ~ Maybe Satan is “lightning”, because it is always destructive. Not a very smart God, if He knew Satan was dangerous to him and those in heaven, what else is expected of him on earth?

Jesus state's in the N.T. Follow satan 'the looser', you will tremble just like him in the END.

  7. Vj ~ Since the end has'nt come you won't know who would be trembling. Looks like a cat and mouse game where it seems Satan is more in control than your God and his son. Who is to say that it is not this God and his son who would be trembling instead, in the end.

The END is just the biginning of the LAKE of fire.

  8. Vj ~ Says the Bible of course, but the same awaits all Christians who rejects Judaism and Islam. The question is, who is right or are they all wrong?

Vijai you don't know anything, your more than ignorant. -k-

  9. Vj ~ I would rather my present position than being a hypocrite to believe in a Satan or the God that created him.

    Hello Ilaudermilk - February 15, 1999
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

  10. Vj ~ Seems like your last days are no different from your first days - Lucifer became evil and was kicked out of heaven; Adam and Eve disobeyed God leading to all sins of the world; Cain murdered Abel; Abraham committed adultery, Noah danced naked after God destroyed the rest of the world; Lot committed incest, the sins of homosexuality led the destruction of Sodom and Gamorah; Moses murdered; David and Solomon committed adultery, Mohammad molested a nine-year old girl and his daughter-in-law inspite of having eleven wives and numerous concubines. If these impudent acts were those of the dignitaries of God what else can be expected of ordinary men. It can't be that bad in the last days since it is not serious enough, as the first days when God had to entervene personally to set affairs right between Him and man.

Dear Vijai, That's why GOD sent JESUS CHRIST

  11. Vj ~ Better late than never? Seems like your God is nothing more than a man. He screwed up so bad that he had to send Jesus to clean up his mess, but the mess is getting bigger otherwise there would be no reason for him to come again.

(I see that you like to post like Satan: MIXING LIES with a little bit of TRUTH.)

  12. Vj ~ Atleast Satan is honest since his nature is evil he practices it. Your God boasted of truth but practiced the opposite.

May the LORD "rebuke" you, HIMSELF!

  13. Vj ~ Tough luck buddy! He had been dead for nearly 2,000 years and was forsaken then by his own father.

  1. Vj ~ Shows how little you know. No one else is in control of mind but us. If anyone else were in control of our mind then we would not be responsible for what we do.

"For we (CHRISTians) wrestle NOT against flesh & blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

  2. Vj ~ Only idiots keep on wrestling with no permanent results. Had it not been so, you would have been free of wrestling already.

    Hello @Ankara - February 17, 1999
have you ever heard that the bible quotes the name "jehovah",

  3. Vj ~ It makes no difference what the name is, if He is the fool that grants fools salvation.

i feel this scares me most and that if the teachings i am reading is true, that we go to church on sunday and sing glory to our great lord jehovah... who are we praying to ? Scary isnt it?!

  4. Vj ~ When one gets to know God there is no fear. Know that if fear exists you are worshipping nothing else but a false God.

    Hello Ilaudermilk - February 18, 1999
GOD and HIS SON are one!

  5. Vj ~ Meaning that your God is also a bastard like his son (born out of wedlock)?

All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.

  6. Vj ~ There you go again, so why is Satan blamed for the sins of all Christian?

    Including you!

  7. Vj ~ I am not a product of incest which means I was not created by your God or descended from Adam and Eve.

    Hello ajiara - February 24, 1999
Satan is not a part of my religion (Wicca)

  8. Vj ~ Makes no difference! Your religion is just as guilty in dividing mankind.

but if you believe in Satan, you tend to give creedence to the idea until it takes on a life of its own.

  9. Vj ~ They would have to believe it, who else would shoulder the blame for their sins.

Without the Dark, there can be no Light,

  10. Vj ~ You would have great difficulty convincing the blind of that.

however, but dont confuse darkness with evil.Otherwise you will have to sleep with the light

  11. Vj ~ Darkness and light is termed so because of ignorance and knowledge respectively. The idea is to know what is truth by the correct knowledge.

Hello Pessimist - February 28, 1999
The concept of an invisible deity or invisible angel should have died out long ago, with their superstitious creators.
  1. Vj ~ The concept of invisible oxygen or invisible atoms should die out, and you don't have to wonder that not all that is invisible is superstitious.

We are approaching the 21st century; grow up and embrace science

  2. Vj ~ If you were not a pessimist you would have looked into my site an would have noticed that I did not only embrace science but I have also found the source.

    Hello Pessimist - March 06, 1999
Vj ~ Took you sometime, my guess you had needed the time to do some research.

Oxygen and the atoms that comprise it is NOT invisible,

  3. Vj ~ Tell that to the gullible (masses) who believe that a dead man can be resurrected.

only minutely small and the new hi-tech instruments we now have are actually getting us a look at the atoms.

  4. Vj ~ By your own argument, as those before were denied the benefit of these high-tech instruments to see oxygen and atoms, aren't you denied the existence of God the same way? At least there is hope by your science, of an high tech instrument sometime in the future which will enable us all to see God. Furthermore, since the invisible oxygen and atoms existed before becoming visible to man, then perhaps the same can be said of God.

This is more than one can say for your deity and invisible land of milk and honey.

  5. Vj ~ This is more than one can say of a 'scientific' mind that lives only in the present.

From: unknown - Mon, 23 Feb 1998
Vijai, Welcome to this forum. You have made an interesting post, but I question almost all of your premises.
  1. Vj ~ As students entering the realms of academic aeons we must become more prudent and inquisitive in our quest for the truth through rationality.

Do you believe that you can find truth through PURE reason? For reason (logic) to be useful, you need to have some trustworthy facts to begin with. A good example of this is the mathematical specialty of geometry. Theorems can be proved using reason, but you must also have some postulates(assumed truths) and definitions.

  2. Vj ~ Quite true, so where do we begin, with the Bible, Torah, Koran, Guru Grantha, Zend Avesta or the Vedas? They are all revelations you know.

In the same way, your "rationality" cannot function without underlying unprovable assumptions (premises). One such unprovable premise is that we must search for the truth through rationality. I'm not saying right now that I disagree with you, but can you prove that statement to me?

  3. Vj ~ Yes! "Blasphemy" is an impediment to critical thinking. We certainly cannot start there, can we?

Vj - 2) "Acceptance of any faith (dogma) without reasoning is Credulity. Many... remain this way for fear of retribution... because of ancestry... poverty, illness, and fear.
Sure, some of them do, but aren't some people converted to religions for apparently good reasons?

  4. Vj ~ What are the good reasons? How do we know it is for the good of the soul if other religions are not thoroughly investigated?

Vj- 3) "Many are compelled by reason to become or remain atheists."
Are people atheists because they use reason and others don't? Are we being just a little prideful here?

  5. Vj ~ Ready belief can never be reasoning. An atheist questions the irrationality of a supposedly Omnipotent and Omniscient God, breaching His immutable laws and this is the best start when it comes to reasoning. This will eventually lead to the truth. When he/she will realize the truth in its entirety is another question.

Atheists also have fear of retribution, ancestors, poverty, and illness.

  6. Vj ~ Quite true, but their knowledge of man and nature and total rejection of irrational dogmas are the obvious path to realizing the one true God.

In my experience (as an ex-atheist), here are some of the leading causes of atheism:
    a) Growing up in a false religion. For example, if you are a Hindu, and realize that the 200 million gods of India (I've heard there are that many) are idols made by men's hands, you might conclude erroneously that all alleged gods are idols. But then you would be neglecting the One True God, who is of a totally different nature than idols.

  7. Vj ~ I agree. Can an omniscient God deny "freewill" as the Bible relates to in so many instance where God intervene to personally destroy the world, cities and innocent folks?

    b) Bad experience with members of a particular religion.

  8. Vj ~ The cause - mediator between man and God.

    c) Anger at God because of sickness, loss of parent, etc.

  9. Vj ~ The root cause of anger is ignorance - even the God of the Bible got angry sometimes, so how can He be the God to cure anger.

    d) Unwillingness to submit their desires to an authority. Some atheists refuse to consider Christianity (for example) because they want to remain sexually active outside of marriage. If they became Christian, their behavior would have to change.

  10. Vj ~ It is better to be an atheist than to be a hypocrite. What about the behaviours of Abraham, Solomon, David (adultery), Cain, Moses (murder), Lot (incest) and many other such immoralities of the Bible. Can this religion really teach morality?

    e) Intellectual pride. It is pretty easy to poke holes in other people's beliefs, especially when your knowledge of them is shallow. The atheist has the advantage of thinking that he has no beliefs that can be criticized, so he can feel intellectually superior to everyone else. It is also easy for an atheist to re-arrange the rules of logic so that no notion of God has a fair chance in his mind.

  11. Vj ~ Correction - No notion of false Gods exist. If an atheist feels superior intellectually, then it is the irrationality of false religion that is in question and not critical thinking.

Becoming and remaining an atheist usually has very little to do with reason, although once one has become an atheist, one will use both good and faulty forms of reason to defend the atheist position.

  12. Vj ~ They are still far ahead of those who chose to choke their conscience into believing God will fix everything for them in the end without individual efforts.

Vj - 4) "The truth can only be realized by critical thinking after examining the tenets of all religions."
Actually, I think you can take some shortcuts to finding the truth. I'll give you just one right now, it should prove the falsity of most religions, and lead you to examine Christianity more closely.

  13. Vj ~ We are born in different conditions and all have different inclinations which means there are no short cuts. In reality, all religions must be examined through good reasoning habits and theories that conform with natural laws.

In the Bible, Isaiah 44 from verse 9 to 20 describes the foolishness of worshipping idols made by mens' hands. It shows, in a way that Christians and others can understand, how utterly ridiculous it is to make an image of wood or metal, and then to fall down and worship it.

  14. Vj ~ You are also speaking of the "cross", the “Virgin Mary” or the "crucifix" of course. It is no different from those who worship idols.

When a person does that, they are worshipping something that is LESS powerful than themselves, and call it God. It cannot talk, or see, or hear. Any religion that does such a thing is a FALSE religion. Please find a Bible and read this passage carefully, then tell me what you think about it.

  15. Vj ~ If the idol reminds the worshipper of God, then tell me what the cross does? The Roman Catholics worship idols and their Bible is the same as yours. So what difference is there in your religion and the religion of the Hindus.

William ~ Robert, given your tracked record for fairness and balance, if you had to make this decision I'm sure it was for good reasons! Hey, it's a tough job but somebody's gotta do it.

Vj ~ "More like a dirty job, but somebody wants to do it..."

Dale ~ Thank You! Unpleasent but, quite right.

  16. Vj ~ Are you going to take this grudge to heaven also? "Is the pen mightier than the sword" or is it my truth that pierces the Christian faith"?

"Just as color cannot be perceived by ears, nor sound by eyes; in like manner, the Eternal Supreme Spirit is not perceptible to the senses. He can only be seen by a pure soul through the purity of heart, acquisition of knowledge and the practice of yoga. Just as one cannot reap the advantages of knowledge without acquiring it, likewise the Supreme Spirit cannot be seen without the practice of yoga and gaining the highest knowledge."
