The Body Builders 2
Before the widespread use of colour photography, the easiest way to represent a stunning picture was by using an "artists impression".  A euphemism for exaggeration in representation. This East Kent coach is one of two from the 30+ Dennis Lance chassis which were supplied in 1954 with Duple Ambassador Coronation based coachwork.
Yet another East Kent vehicle used in advertising, this time by Park Royal for the Guy Arab IV chassis.
Yeates of Loughborough were synonymous with garish "modern" looking vehicles, bedecked with plenty of chrome and looking rather flash if not vulgar. They, like Beadle and others, had a field day after the war, rebodying older chassis with modern looking bodywork. (Advertisment below)  Progressing, they offered their own very individual styles right through to the 60's..

This advertisment on the right is for a Riviera coachwork to a Maudsley Marathon IV chassis.
