The Ages

The Dark Age was the time before and at the beginning of the elvish empire. It was a time of fear and dark magics. The Golden Age refurs to the golden kingdom of elves- the elvish empire. Much of what we know about the deep past was documented by the elves of this time. It was a time of learning and of prosparity. The age of Empires begins when the Dwarvish Empire came into being. Both empires grew rapidly during this time. It was during this time that the current form of Elvish (that used by the empire) was distributed through out the known world by trade and conquest. The age ends with their war- a final blow to the stuggling Elvish Empire and a first blow to the over-extended Dwarvish empire. The time that followed was the age of 1000 princes. It was a time when many were claimed to be the heirs of the dead empire. It was a time of strife and disallisionment. The Age of the Warring Wizards was a reaction to all this. The greatest wizards became more powerful than kings. They pomised stability and safety to the suffering people. Ulimatly their own bickering and the changing times caused their towers to fall.
