A little touch of history: o Started up on the AM band in Sydney as '2JJ', on 19th January 1975. o Moved to the FM band and were renamed as '2JJJ', on 1st August 1980. o Named changed (by deed poll) to Triple J and started broadcasting into all capital cities, in 1989. o Expanded into 18 rural centers across Oz, in 1995. o Lastly known broadcasting to 56 regions and 8 capital cities as well as over the Internet... all of Australia, almost.
