Melody and Angela Eckmier Didn't know if they would ever play again volleyball against each other. Born 22 months apart, the Eckmier sisters grew up in a tight knit family and always play together. But close as are they are, they'll wear different uniforms for the first time ever-- Melody in green and black and Angela is blue and gold. April 28, 2003 Brooke Truong, is a 5'9 rightside/outside hitter has signed a national letter of intend to attend the university of Maine and participate in the volleyball program, according to an announcement today by UMaine head volleyball coach Sue Medley. "Brooke is the most expereinced players we have recruited to our program. She has competed at the highest levels in the U.S.with the Thunder program,"Medley said."She is a very stable, ball-control type of player who blocks and hits very well from the right side.
