"Why was Rapunzel's mom so hot for rampion?" my sister asks me in this wacky sort of email the other day. I start thinking to myself "Just what the heck -is- rampion, anyway?" Some of you reading this might even wonder "Who in the world is Rapunzel?"
With all of these questions in mind, I went on a hunt and found the two websites above that pretty much answered it all for me. But then... THEN... I come across -this-. What am I to think of it? Am I to lump it in with the wierdo golf course site and the olive oil site I found while doing this search? Neither of which has anything to do with rampion. This... Well, this -thing- on this third site favours rampion a bit, but why? Is Rapunzel's mom out there somewhere on the net with her rampant rampion obsession driving her toward such shrine-esque web design feats as this? I mean, think about it. Modern day, she wouldn't have to send her hubby into the wierd-old-lady-next-door's yard to steal her fetish food, she could just order it online! Start her own site to sell or worship it maybe. But according to that second link I've got stuck up that-a-way, Rapunzel's mom's way too much of a selfish bitch to share her rampion with others. So maybe this site is Rapunzel's mom taunting the world because she's cornered the rampion market... Really, tell me if I'm rambling. Heh. (2-9-02) |
