Mission: Our
objective is to "Meet the need to feed" in Palm
Beach County, Florida. We are a completely volunteer
organization that is an affiliate of U.S.A. Harvest, one
of the nation's fastest growing hunger relief
organizations. What we do is very simple: we take
leftover or unused food from restaurants, schools,
hospitals, grocery stores and other food businesses, then
we deliver it to soup kitchens and other missions who
need the food. Our organization allows churches, shelters
and other worthy causes to reallocate their resources.
Instead of purchasing food, these worthy causes can use
their limited resources to provide shelter, training, and
medical services for those in need. We do not compete for
money: what we need already exists! Food that is
typically thrown away provides wholesome, nutritious
meals for the needy.
