About us
A Reproduction of an Ikkakuryu Jitte
The original is owned by a Budoka in Japan
Boshin 26.5cm  Handle 12.5cm  536g
Kagi Base; 4.5cm (wider than a regular jutte so that one can catch a Bokken with this)
Ikkakuryu Jitte with a giboshi at the egashira-tip
Length 40.5cm;    Kagi 7.5cm;   Kagi Base 2cm     Weight about 750g

Kagi head is wider than its base. ( in other words, fan shaped)
Though the boshin can be tapered , its limit may be 10mm; (diameter) at the boshin head, so that a jitte can be well-balanced.

The giboshi at the egashira-tip can be sharpened to have a conical shape.
