Samoa (map) was the third country/territory I visited on my Pacific Islands trip. My visit was from the 25th of May 2000 to the 29th of July 2000 (with two visits of in total two-and-a-half weeks to American Samoa in between). Apart from a few days in Seipepa Samoan Travel Home, I mostly stayed with Fiji-Indian USP students at home in Apia and with a Samoan family in Savai'i. I was not really interested in any tourist activities, but I always tried to adapt to the local (or student) lifestyles as much as possible.
