APRIL

Bumper Bowling at Ghost Alley
456 College St, Wadsworth

Bring your youngsters for a fun game of bumper bowling. Even the little ones can join the fun with some help from the bumpers. Grown ups are welcome to play too!

Cost: $5.00/person. (Includes one game, small drink, and hot dog) Pay at the door.

Afternoon at the Movies

Let’s go to the movies! Join us for an afternoon at the movies where kids are welcome! Older siblings, friends, and extended family members are welcome to come too! (All tickets must be purchased in advance through a member to receive discounted rates.) Event price includes a small popcorn and small drink. Show times will be announced closer to the event date.

Cost: $6.50/person, children 2 and under are free, (ticket only: $5.50) Pay in advance.

All Fired Up – Paint Me a Story
233 S Court St, Medina

We will read a story and then paint a piece of pottery related to the book. (Mother's Day theme)

Cost: $7.00/child. Pay at the door.

Infant/ Toddler Play Date
Wadsworth Library, Room A

You are invited to join us for an infant/ toddler play date! Please feel free to bring along an age appropriate toy and a board book to share. It will be an unstructured playtime only for children 23 months old and younger, please no older siblings. There is no need to sign up. 

Earth Day at Buffalo Creek Retreat

Come celebrate Medina County’s 13th Annual Earth Day at the one of the Medina County park District’s newest facilities, Buffalo Creek Retreat. There will be earth-friendly exhibits, fishing, kids’ activities, food and much more. So bring the whole family for a fun-filled day. Additional parking for this event will be at Hubbard Valley Park and shuttle service provided to Buffalo Creek. All ages welcome.

Cost: Free. No registration required.

Wadsworth Fire Station Tour
Station Two – Weatherstone Drive

Parents and children will learn about fire safety together in this interactive tour of our local fire station. Wadsworth firefighter and paramedic Scott will lead us though the fire hall and will cover basic safety points, including seatbelt and helmet safety. The tour will also include checking out an ambulance and learning about EMS.

Cookie Cutter Haircuts for Kids

Is it a park or a hair salon? Check out this great place where you can pamper those little ones! Girls will receive a Shirley Temple manicure ($6) and boys will get a mock shave and tattoo ($5). Everyone (even you, mom!) can also get a haircut or any other service provided. Take a ride on a motorcycle or gallop on the horse and watch your favorite television program while you get your tresses trimmed.

Cost: Varies. Pay at the door.
