| Function: NCHE is a statewide support group formed in 1984 to support and encourage home educators and to protect the right to freely home educate in North Carolina. NCHE membership fees run on a calendar year (Jan. - Dec.) Membership is available to all residents of NC who pledge to uphold the ideals of NCHE and comply with the NC home school law.
