The refugees don't have the right of citizenship. They can't live freely in their own country. They can't vote. They can't have a leader. They can't speak freely. They can't say this is good or bad.
God tells us in the Bible that the more you love the more you get back. This is a sign of compassion for them because they can't be free. When I visit refugees they are happy to see me. They know that people from around the world love them.They always welcome me and feed me eventhough they have little food. The refugees are encouraged and they feel hope and joy when they are shown love.
The Burmese army has attacked many villages forcing people to flee. Women are raped when the Burmese army attacks their village. Men, women, and children are murdered in the attacks. When they capture a villager they make he/she a slave and make them carry supplies and only give them one cup of rice a day.
Those who flee into Thailand and other countries become refugees. Those who stay in hiding in Burma are Internally Displaced People (IDP's).
We should help refugees and IDP's because they are helpless and we have freedom and they do not. So we must help them NOW!
