We stayed our first few days in Milan while we adjusted to the 9-hour time change and relaxed after the journey. A large, industrious city, Milan is home to Italy's stock market and the fashion capital of Europe, aside from Paris.

It was Erin's first glimpse of some really impressive sights with more history to them than anything man-made in all of America, and even Glenn, the world traveler, was quite impressed with places like the Duomo and the Castello Sforzesca.
