Pastor’s Report – Fr Mike Tauke: 3 funerals & 5 baptisms since last month. We will be interviewing 2 candidates for Pastoral Minister. We have excellent candidates for upcoming parish elections. Area pastors are concerned about athletics cutting into parish ministries.
Pastoral Minister – Sr Dolores Schmitz: Regular visits to 30+ homebound & monthly visits to North Star. Daily visits to 2 parishioners during their dying. Led scripture service for Jack Campbell & Odile Volk. My farewell open house was wonderful. Thank you to the CCW for hosting & all those who attended. Preparing our homebound for the transition to a new pastoral minister.
Board of Faith Formation: Evaluation of Gen. of Faith with focus groups, will select 7-8 families randomly. Budget reviewed. 3 nominees for board elections. Board was asked to help with closing Mass & potluck in June.
Liturgist & Youth Ministry Dir. – Jenny Hulme: Prepared environment for Pentecost, coordinated choir for Ben Baird & Pat Loveland funerals, working with couples on wedding music. Took 3 women to Tony Melendez concert. 9 JH students attended over-nighter, Mass held at Wartburg May 18, planning senior recognition & youth rally.
