--Outstanding Male High School Athlete, Drake Relays (1993 & 1994).

HIGH SCHOOL TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS

--Won 12 state titles (200 meter dash four times, long jump three times, 400 meter low hurdles once, and four relay team titles).

--Iowa City, City High won three state team championships in the four years Tim was on the team.

--Won 10 Drake Relays titles (long jump three times,400 meter low hurdles once, and six relay team titles).

--Won 15 Mississippi Valley track titles.

--Iowa City, City High won four conference championships in Tim's four years.

--Won the 200 meter dash and long jump at the Simplot National Indoor Meet in Idaho in 1994.

--Finished second in the long jump and fifth in the 200 meter dash-(the only time he lost a high school race)- at the National Scholastic Outdoor Meet in North Carolina in 1994.
