If you firmly believe as I do, that the ceremony shouldn't be the thing that you and your guests have to suffer through to get to the good part, then you are in the right place. The words here, and on the rest website, are shared as a resource to help couples create ceremonies as unique and wonderful as they themselves are! Remember to think modular, keeping the things that speak of you and your relationship and tossing out the things that do not. I hope you enjoy what we have so far and we look forward to bringing you more! So let's start with some things to think about... Religion, Yes or No, and if so which ones and how much? Speaking, are you comfortable with public speaking? Writing, would you like to write your vows or more? Are you interested in the little ceremonies that can go on during the wedding such as candles, wine, roses, and so on? Is there something that is an important part of your life that you want included? And the big one.... What do you need to promise to one another to live a long and happy life together? What do you want to promise and be promised on your wedding day? This is a very personal thing and a personal vow is an opportunity to hand over the owners manual to your beloved. If there are things you love now and want to keep loving for many years to come; If there are things you need to be a strong whole individual in a relationship of equals that is vibrant and alive; If there are things that you hope for for the future; Now is the perfect time to tell your partner! This will help to safeguard your future and help you keep your course true when the road becomes bumpy. I recently spoke with one of my Brides. They had bought a house out of state and moved away from their family. It was a hard year for them. But she said that reading the book with the ceremony that we wrote in it helped get them through. Especially the personal vows written withmy own special formula. It was the best complement I've ever gotten.  But enough chit chat, for now! On to the Ceremony Samples!
