This section is for those of you who have inquired about joining Web Elite Force (WEF) and have been encouraged by a member of our leadership to check and see what we are all about before making that leap. Please explore our website and see if our team philosophy matches what you are looking for in a squad.

WEF was started by Capt.Vagabond in april 2001 to distinguish some players for their effort in playing an nice and enjoyable game. So far we have been successful of doing that.
We all like playing Delta Force and the intention of *WEF* is to have a team with people who play just because it is pure fun.
We are not interested in people who only play to win, ego-trippers or cheaters. Winning is great, but having a good time, iimproving our skills, and playing with respect for others, honor, and good attitudes is our prime directive.

If we have invited you here with the request to join us then that might mean you also seem to be that kind of player we are looking for. We are not interested in a player only for his skills. Skills are not important to us. As long as you have the necessary knowledge to play the game and some previous experience in playing it is ok with us.
We are not the best team. We are also not the best players. But we can take care of ourselves in the game.
So far we have not played any real matches with other teams. We are also not a big team. And we do not promise you a lot, just a group who gets together (although getting everyone on the team together is nearly impossible) to have some good old fun. There are no obligations at all.
We do have some simple little rules (see section 'Rules') to make sure we pull the same strings, represent ourselves as a team and that we agree on how to play.

So why join???
There are many advantages of joining a team!
When you play online chances are that other teammembers will join you. You will get to know eachother and that improves the element of fun in playing.
You will receive the e-mailaddresses of the entire team. You will also be a part of the mailinglist of the team. So whenever you or another teammember plays online you can let everybody know you are playing. Other players will join you or you can join them. This way you will always be playing with people you know.
We also host our own games. Most of the time the team plays against the individual players that join the game. This occasionally causes we get our butts kicked sometimes when we are outnumbered, lol.
We do not always host the same stockmaps that come with the game. We use downloadmaps we get on the net and sometimes also selfmade maps.
Playing different maps after a while will prevent you from getting bored with the game. Who would want to play the same old missions over and over again???
We also use the Exp2b pack, which gives us extra missions and terrains.

The type of games we play is mostly TDM, DM, Snipergames, Cooperative (we started out as a coop team), and recently also TKOTH and KOTH. Recently we added A&D also.
Make sure these are the type of games you like to play.

The times we play are mostly from 8 till 12 pm eastcoast USA timezone. Check to see what time that is where you live and if you are able to jon us at those hours.
The team so far has people from all over the USA, Canada and Europe.

We have no schedule of fixed days or hours to play. We do not force you to show up all the time. You come whenever you want to play.
We do ask some small things, see section ' Rules' to find out.

Every new member starts as a Pvt. (Private). You will go up in rank as time goes by and when new players join the team.
Our main criteria to go up in rank is the amount of time you play with us. the more we see you, the sooner your rank will go up. See elsewhere on this site to find out which ranks we use.

Before you decide please scroll through this website, especially this section and 'Rules'. Make sure you can find yourself in our philosphy.

So, have you made up your mind and you want to join???
1.Then get in contact with the captain, a recruiter or the personnel officer by sending an e-mail. Do not add *WEF* to your name before mailing.
2.Think about a name you want to use as a player. Make sure your rank + name + *WEF* doesn't have to many characters.
Depending on the squad you are assigned to you will have to do the following:
-The people that belong to headquarters have *WEF* behind their name
-The squadleaders have for example *WEF² behind their name, which means they run 2nd squad.
-The members of the squad put for example ²WEf² behind their name which means they are a member of 2nd squad.
To make the ² or ³ you should find those symbols on your keyboard. If not or when you are in 1st squad you will have to download the Lacieland name editor on our download page. Or press Alt + 0185, that might work also.
3.Download the Exp2b pack. It will give you new terrains and missions. You will need it to be able to enter our games when we host exp2b maps. Download the version for df2 at Terrannova or any other site.

4.Download the rogerwilco by pressing this button. Some of use it to talk to eachother while playing online. You can even use it as as long distance phone, lol. It's 100% free.

Those who are interested in joining will be evaluated after 3 times we have seen them in a 1 month period. Then the Pvt rank and the teamtag will be issued and allowed to use. While being a Pvt the team might still reconcider wether we want to keep you as a member or not.
