So, you want the long winded version?
Here it is, a huge report on Iraq's Status as an international threat.
Invasion of Iraq - A Necessary Evil
Introduction
“Knowing the designs and deceptions of the Iraqi regime,
we have every reason to assume the worst, and we have
an urgent duty to prevent the worst.”
- President George W. Bush
September 25, 2002.

August, 2002: The United States of America issues its first public statements regarding its intent to invade Iraq. The international result: four months of threats, worry, and escalation.

Historic events such as this require consideration. They require thought, and personal analysis. Many are too quick to base their opinions on second-hand information without closely examining the facts surrounding the event. This is particularly evident today. Since August, there have been many protests, speakers and campaigns lobbying against President Bush and those who support him. These protests focus their efforts on proving that the United States seeks only to increase its international supremacy and petroleum profits. Others feel that Bush seeks war in an attempt to echo his father’s efforts during the Gulf War in 1991.

The United States and Britain paint a drastically different picture. They state defiantly that Saddam Hussein is a brutal dictator whose unstable nature makes him a serious international threat. They repeatedly release reports that attempt to prove that the Iraqi regime is in the process of developing an arsenal of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. In this age of terrorism and uncertainty, these nations feel that Saddam Hussein is unfit to have such power under his control. In the light of events such as the terrorist strikes on September eleventh, our instinct is now pre-emptive action, as opposed to the world’s lost favour for tolerance.

When one weighs fact against fiction, there can only be one victor. This is not a situation where governments or individuals have the luxury to sit on a fence, weighing sides. When the facts, the history, and the intelligence are examined, it is clear that fact has no ‘hidden agenda.’ There is no secret ambition; there is no economic ambition; there is nothing more reliable than fact. In this case, reality speaks plainly: Saddam Hussein is a major threat to world security and must immediately be removed from his position of power. Under no circumstance can the current Iraqi government be permitted to develop any kind of nuclear, biological or chemical weapons. There is no room for dispute, discussion or restraint. President Hussein has a history of genocide and mass murder; he has since developed a lethal combination of capability and intent to complement his future acts of terror. When one examines the arguments against the invasion of Iraq, the arguments are coated with a thick film of allegation and coincidence, and have no fact to present as a foundation. Those who protest are simply mislead by their goal to de-escalate international tension and conflict. However, when one considers the state of the international community and its instability, a situation such as this can quickly develop into deeper resentment and eventual war.

What side are you on? This is not a situation that permits a hasty decision. Examine the facts carefully before arriving on any conclusion, and leave any pre-conceived ideas at the door.
