Course Objectives

  1. To help students gain a deeper understanding of the major aspects of speech preparation and presentation

  2. To provide a training ground where students develop skills that will serve them throughout life
  3. To help students become capable, responsible thinkers

Course Description

This course is designed for third year students. The pedagogy takes the form of lectures, discussions, collaborative and individual activities. The students enrolled in this class are expected to acquire the basic skills in public speaking. By applying theory into practice can help students better appreciate the process involved in public speaking, and hopefully, experience the rewards of a presenting good speeches.

Grading System and Policies

We will follow the school's grading policy.

Notes:

Arrive in class on time and submit your assignments on time.
Late assignments won't be accepted.
We will follow the school's guidelines on absences. The teacher has the right to fail you if you have 6 [or more] absences.
Avoid plagiarism. Do not copy other people's work. Use your references and other sources responsibly.
