The characters in the game are Leon S. Kennedy (easily the most annoying character in the game in my opinion) and Claire Redfield (the most annoying in the series expect for Steve Burnside from Code Veronica) Leon tends to try and be the leader of the pack as he is the only cop in town and must keep order however he is ignored at every turn proving that he is infact a big poof. Claire is there simply looking for her brother chris and is also not very hard, this i suppose keeps a realistic perspective on the game as youd probably go nuts in a zombie infested city which comes to the next point, the area of play.
Initially you start of in Raccoon city, its been destroyed as everyone has crashed cars and what not trying to get out, however in the first 15 mins of the game you are quickly confined to the police station and then as usual a lab. its basically the same game with different characters but not. I know i am bashing the game majorly but it isnt really bad at all i just think the character development was a little pants (except for claire) I actually get a lot of stick for bashing Res 2 from friends but the truth is i do like it, it is one of the best but it is not as good as the first however it is a MUST buy to understand and enjoy the series but dont buy it just for that get it cos it is a very good game.
