History: Tayika grew up learning about Pern’s ancestors. Throughout her family line, records were kept and preserved, as well as old family belongings. Tayika learned to appreciate everything about the ancestors of Pern. Unfortunately, many of the records have become torn, shredded, or lost, but she reads the ones she can and copies them over, and tosses the ones that are too wrecked to even try and save.
