Tayika's cream 'Mith gave out a sad croon as he looked at the poor dragons that made their way to the abandoned sands. Tayika also watched in sadness. It had been rare indeed that dragons would become abandoned. But these had. Including the poor black dragon that had four wings. Everyone had expected a dragon to be able to take care of another. But it hadn't worked that way. The bronze dragon had just suddenly up and dissappeared, apparently 'Korith couldn't feel him anywhere. So he obviously had betweened himself far back in time to keep from being felt. It was a sad thing indeed when a dragon would abandon another.
We should comfort them. 'Mith said sadly.
You can't comfort those poor dragons. Not unless someone else comes along that can fill those wholes in their hearts. Tayika and 'Mith spent the rest of the day thinking about what they'd do to the people...and dragon, that had abandoned those poor dragons if they ever laid eyes no them.

"Well! Our first flight went well together. To you see that T'jul?" Tayika tried to keep from laughing, and so wound up snorting.
I saw Lleshilleth. Mmnommith commented. Did you hear of this new Weyr they're creating? Mmnommith suddenly asked, to change the subject for a moment. But only for a moment. It's called Maura Lynna. And when it's all finished. They're sending half the people forward to the Ninth Pass so we can live out our lives there. Apparently, T'jul and Lleshilleth are going to go when they're older. Mmnommith knew his rider's affections for T'jul and knew he could make her want to go if he told her that the dragon of his affection's rider and her were going.
You're too flirtatious, Mmnommith. Tayika commented.
I wasn't the one that 'accidently' fell into his arms during training class. So I wouldn't be talking if I were you. Mmnommith said and then squealed and ran for the lake where he'd have the best advantage over his rider. He always won splashing games.
