I'm sitting here at my computer at 10:30 at night thinking about my situation. The thought I can't put out of my head is the disbelief I feel from the lack of response from those who read what I have posted. I take it as a sign that People really don't care and I wonder WHY? Then I think of all the "causes" out 'there' that are CONSTANTLY bombarding "US" for "OUR" attention and let's not forget "OUR" MONEY!!
Please don't get me wrong, these "Causes" are mostly deserving of Our attention and Money (IF it can be spared) But ONLY IF the money sent ACTUALLY REACHES the PEOPLE who NEED it!! Unfortunately, I believe there is way too much corruption in "OUR" society. It seems one of the fastest ways of making Yourself rich is to mislead those who really care about others into believing You are "helping" those misfortunate Ones when, in FACT, the only one being "HELPED" is stealing the money instead of sending where it should have gone!!
Then I think about some of "OUR" other social 'problems'. I know We have all experienced a problem with the 'younger' generation at least ONCE and We have all wanted to back hand one and then We've wondered what's going on. Yet WE have ALLOWED 'laws' to be passed that makes it a crime for parents to discipline their own children!! Whether or not the INTENT of the "LAW" is good, the real problem occurs when the "LAW" is IMPROPERLY inforced. The net result is Parents FEAR correcting their children and "WE" send the message to the children they can get away with ANYTHING they want to because their parents don't dare risk the "law" being brought into the fray. AND we have the AUDACITY to be offended by the 'Childrens' behavior!!
Now, I have only mentioned two of Our societies problems, which is not even beginning to scratch the surface of Our troubles, yet these two alone are enough to give anyone the desire to look the other way! Unfortunately for Us, that only lets the problems persist!
Right now, my immediate problem is to figure out how to get YOU, the reader, to take some action to help us all by DOING something to CHANGE things for the betterment of ALL of US! So, in that attempt, I am asking You to think about something, ANYTHING, that angers You, and ask Yourself one little questions: Have I done anything to correct this? If you can HONESTLY say YES, I am very Proud of You! If You can't then I think you DESERVE to SUFFER over it until you do something about it!
Without getting into specific and potentionally troublesome topic (like religion) I can honestly tell you the statement "What goes around, comes around" is true! If you help someone, in any way, the benifits of doing that WILL come back to you in some way. If you don't believe me, then I challenge you to try it, because I KNOW you will become a believer! Just remember this; it rarely, if ever, comes back to you from the one you helped, but keep on the lookout for something good to come of it from somwhere and it usually tries to sneak up on you. Go ahead, TRY to make a liar out of me, I damn well double DARE you!!
