This was a poor performance by all accounts from White Riot but they showed they had enough nous to close out the result in the end with a spectacular (flukey) winner from Geraint Havard who for the second week running proved to be the hero of the day for the Riot. Also due a special mention is Lee Lockwood whose recent turn of form has helped White riot to the past two victories and Stephen Sypliwtchak who played the whole game despite breaking his nose the previous day. This win lifts White Riot out of the relegation zone after a disastorous start to the season. They can now look forward to playing league leaders Deportivo, full of confidence. Man of the match: Lee Lockwood Line up: 1/4/2007 White Riot show they are no April Fools White Riot secure their first win of the season 11-9 against Dream team to move out of the relegation zone for the first time. Despite a great start where White Riot led 5-0 after 5 minutes, Dream team battled back to 9-9 with three miutes on the clock before 2 late goals by Geraint Havard secured a first win for struggling White Riot. Hopefully this will be the inspiration White Riot need to climb the table, with Aled Rees' return destined to sure up the team's defense. Man of the match: Geraint Havard Line up: 25/3/2007 Geraint Havard's 5 goal return from injury is not enough to inspire White Riot to victory as they throw the game away against a goal keeper inspired mean machine. White Riot remain bottom of the new league but show promise with a battling display against fellow relegation contendors. 4/3/2007 White Riot Join new league. Current gaffer Robert Kinsey has felt that a change of scenery would benefit the team due to the abundance of friendly games in leisure leagues. White Riot has now joined the play football leagues in llangyfelach.
