        Techno Queen Lee Jung Hyun returned from Cebu Island in the Philippines today June 23 after shooting the photo jacket and music video for her special summer album to be released next month. The album called "Lee Jung Hyun's Summer Dance Party" will contain an assortment of summer dance tracks including title song "Dance, Dance, Dance."

        Lee Jung-hyun is scheduled to hold a concert in China from April 20th-28th, but is reluctant to confirm the schedule because of SARS. If she goes accordingly with the original plan, she has to perform in four cities and is to receive a guarantee of 50 million won from each city. This is the largest scale concert ever for Lee Jung-hyun who has held over ten concerts so far in China. She has also postponed the final shooting of a Chinese drama also because of SARS.

        Lee Jung Hyun is fond of her roots and it shows in her music. Her latest album features many songs that incorporate both techno sounds with traditional Korean instruments and sampling of traditional Korean folk tunes. The songs "Ari Ari" and "Moon Dance" in the album are examples of her crossover style. The effect is quite original and Lee Jung Hyun brings out the traditional aspects to the full with her costumes and dance moves. Lee Jung Hyun is currently is China to shoot a Chinese TV drama.
