Cruise Aboard the Tropicale

TAMPA, FL - This cruise was a little different from other cruises we've taken. It was arranged for by Bare Necessities Tour and Travel. It was a new experience, kind of, and we enjoyed it.
This cruise was a five day cruise that left from Tampa, Florida, stopped at Key West, Florida, went on to Cozumel, Mexico, spent a day at sea, then returned to Tampa, Florida. While in

Carnival's Tropicale
The Tropicale, docked at Key West.

Key West, Tom and I took the shore excursion that took us to Fort Zachary Taylor, Ernest Hemingway's home, and finally the Audubon House. We then visited an art fair on the
street and then the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum. Finally, we walked around for a while. In Mexico, we debarked at Playa del Carmen to see the Mayan ruins at Tulum. We then took a ferry to Cozumel, took a taxi to the beach, went back to town and had a drink at Carlos' n Charlie's, then shopped a little before returning to the ship. The rest of the time was spent on board the ship.
