Cruise Aboard the Tropicale |
|||
TAMPA, FL - This cruise was a little different from other cruises we've taken. It was arranged for by Bare Necessities Tour and Travel. It was a new experience, kind of, and we enjoyed it. This cruise was a five day cruise that left from Tampa, Florida, stopped at Key West, Florida, went on to Cozumel, Mexico, spent a day at sea, then returned to Tampa, Florida. While in |
Carnival's Tropicale The Tropicale, docked at Key West. Key West, Tom and I took the shore excursion that took us to Fort Zachary Taylor, Ernest Hemingway's home, and finally the Audubon House. We then visited an art fair on the |
street and then the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum. Finally, we walked around for a while. In Mexico, we debarked at Playa del Carmen to see the Mayan ruins at Tulum. We then took a ferry to Cozumel, took a taxi to the beach, went back to town and had a drink at Carlos' n Charlie's, then shopped a little before returning to the ship. The rest of the time was spent on board the ship. |
