For this cotte, I wished to have a different shape for the dress and a different collar. I found my inspiration from 3 patterns. Pattern The dress is McCall’s 3663, a princess line. I have used McCall’s 8937 for the sleeves and McCall’s 2806 for the curled collar. All this mix gives the result of a simple but more adjusted dress. Fabric I have used an strech fabric which is similar to satin (same look). It takes between 5 m and 5.2 m to make it. Advice With this kind of fabric, it is best if you don’t have to undo a seam because the wholes will still show and the fabric tends to fray. |
