September 2006
Well the summer went by way too fast.  We spent time at church camp and also camping at various places.  Camping is what we do in summer!  Wendy's daycare business has been booming.  The kids are all back in school, and Brian's been working two jobs.  Brianna is really enjoying her new school. Bethany is now in grade 4 and happy that she is not in a split class this year.  Benjamin is enjoying grade 2. The book that I was published in is finally done! It's so
beautiful. I'll try to get the website linked in case anyone wants to order a copy.....

I guess it's been awhile since I updated here! Sorry! Highlights: We decided to take Brianna out of public school starting next year when she hits middle school. She'll be going to a private Christian school til she graduates.  Benjamin can really read now! It's all starting to 'click' together for him!  He'd still rather play sword fights though. LOL.   Brian got a big promotion at work and is now a lead hand over the whole shop. He was a welding supervisor, so the responsibility is somewhat overwhelming.  Wendy has been doing a lot of writing, even getting some devotional articles published in the Reflections magazine, as well as speaking a devotional at ladies retreat. God is so amazing, and opening doors that I never even knocked on, including some of my writings being published in a devotional book written by a cross section of various UPC women..

We have had a busy Christmas season but God has blessed us.  We got a new computer due to a crash on our very old one, and Santa brought Wendy a digital camera which she love love loves!  We spent some time with Wendy's folks, went skating, snowmobiling and all that other fun winter stuff.  We've had a mild winter (so far)  The kids are doing well in school. The girls take piano and we plan to sign them all up for swimming soon.   Not much else is new.  We're just keeping on keeping on! God is awesome!

October 2005
Life is still busy as ever. We did have a pretty lazy summer though which was nice. Bethany turned 8.  How did my baby girl get so old? She had a fun sleepover party...her first!  It was a lot of fun though Mom was glad when it was over!  We went to church camp, and I did babysit 2 kids besides my own over the summer.  We also went camping which was the best week of the summer.  It was just sooo relaxing! Wendy has been doing a lot of writing, just short devotionals... and even managed to get a couple articles published in 2 different magazines.  The kids are growing soo much.  This is Brianna's last year in her school, which is very sad.  Next year junior high!  How is that possible?  Would somebody tell me that?  She was just a toddler about an hour ago!  Bethany is in grade 3 but she's in a split grade 2/3 class due to not enough students to make separate classes.  She's doing very well.  Benj is in grade 1 already.  I miss him being gone all day but he is loving it and starting to read a few words. :)   Wendy has added two new children to her home daycare and attends preschool with her daycare littles twice a week.
We just bought new furniture for the rec room....  God is so good to us!

I think  since I started blogging (keeping a daily webjournal) I just forget to update this newsy section, so my apologies to any of you who check here regularly. Email me for the blog link if you really want to read my brain burps and maybe I'll let you.... LOL.
Life has been busy busy busy with the usual stuff for the kids. School, piano, church, work... Yep Wendy is still babysitting. I've got so many kids lined up for the fall I'm going to have to take a waiting list or get licensed. LOL.We've painted our bedroom (very light beige), the living room (sortof a sagey green but not really)...the hallway and kitchen will be next, though I'm not sure WHEN!  We're extremely excited to have the snow all gone and spring is here! We can't wait to get the camper cleaned out, packed up and hooked up and on the road. Though we can't go far because with the price of gas we nearly need to take out a loan!  God has been good and we are enjoying living for Him, being very active in our happy lively church. We are so excited about what God is doing in our lives!

January 2005
Wow it's been awhile since I've updated here. Sorry. Life just has a way of getting away on me! The kids are all doing well and loving school.  Both the girls are making great strides in piano this year. We are so pleased with their new teacher, my old and dear friend Shelley!  Bethany and Ben both took swimming lessons last season. We'll sign them up again in the spring.  Brianna turned 10 with a wonderful surprise sleepover party! Benjamin turned 6 and we all went to a hotel with kid theme rooms, and waterslides. It was a blast.  Wendy directed the christmas musical drama at church and it went quite well in spite of her inexperience!  She's been loving being part of the praise team, and taking her turn at worship leading. Brian is often the Bible reader.  We all love our church!  Brian is still on night shift and still working tons of OT.  Somethings never change.  Though I totally rearranged our bedroom! And hope to paint it soon. It's about time we finally did OUR room, and made it into a haven of rest. Haha...... Wendy is still babysitting 2 full time children, plus 2 "before school" children, so it' makes for busy days for all of us. Brianna and Bethany are such a big help with the extra kids. They're even getting good at washing dishes, rotating and folding laundry, and making beds. I don't know what I would do without my girls.

Brian is the head of this family.  He's a wonderful husband and father. He works as a lead hand...He also enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and our dogs  Sasha and Scamp.....

Wendy is Mom to the bunch!

Brianna is our oldest daughter. She is 11, and is in grade 7. She is doing extrememly well at school and is a very strong reader. She takes piano lessons and we're trying to find her a vocal coach as she has the most beautiful voice EVER!

Bethany is our baby girl. She is 9  years old. She is in grade 4 and is reading and spelling well. She often gets 30/30 on her mad minute math tests! She goes to swimming and piano lessons.  She also has the most beautiful voice EVER. LOL

Benjamin is our baby and our only son. He's 7 years old and is in grade 2! He LOVES school though the biggest deal to him is what is in  his lunch kit. LOL. He will be taking swimming lessons next season and wants to take karate. We'll see... :)
