Find pieces of different length and diameter. You can make a version with two or more pieces, where you have at least two bamboo knots in the middle. On these knots, you tie the pieces together with rope. Make slits on either side, experiment how far and broad you cut them, but take it easy; the sound depends on these slits. You can also make one with a single piece of bamboo. Then you make the slits on either side at different length and width. Make sure there is at least one bamboo knot in the middle. |
