The Synchronous Transfer of Energy
Introductory Remarks
Considerable confusion results from a failure to analyze the difference between active forces and radiant energy. It is generally not recognized that a changing gravitational field, an oscillating field, although not itself energy is able to transmit energy. It is clear that a stationary force-field, is not energy but is a force. In the Enfolding Universe, as recognized by the Unified Theory, a changing force-field or alternating field is also clearly a force and is not energy. An alternating field can result in a moving system and a movable system being brought into resonance with one another.
The distinction, however, between a moving and movable system is a relative one. It is really not appropriate to think of the moving system as active and the movable system as passive. What is important is the relationship between the two systems. Resonance is established, for example, between the Moon`s gravity and the Earth`s gravity. The Earth clearly affects the Moon as a moving system and, in this sense, the Moon is both a moving and movable system and the Earth likewise is both a moving and movable system.
The relationship between the Earth and Moon is one of constantly establishing a balance among numerous centripetal and centrifugal forces. Centrifugal forces acting on the Moon attempts to pull the Moon away from the Earth whose centripetal forces pulls the Moon towards the Earth. The result of this interplay of forces is the slow rotation of the Moon around the Earth. The Sun, in turn, exerts its centripetal force upon both the Earth and Moon, with the result that both the Moon and Earth rotate together around the Sun.
The Earth itself is not revolving around its axis but a moving point in space every 25,868 years, creating the precession of the equinoxes, and leading to one complete revolution of the planes moving in opposite directions around the equator and around the ecliptic with respect to each other. Thus, anlyses of the balances among centripetal and centrifugal forces involving the Sun would include balances leading to the diurnal rotation of the Earth, to the Earth`s annual rotation around the Sun, the Earth`s processional rotation based upon one complete revolution of the equinoctial and ecliptical planes with respect to one another, and to the solar system`s revolution around the Milky Way.
Such forces are not radiant energy although energy may be transmitted. The synchronous transmission of force-field energy in the Enfolding Universe is a major discovery of the Unified Theory along with its discovery of the synchronous reference system appicable to the Enfolding Universe. The Enfolding Universe resolves many difficulties in treating matter as both radiant energy and "field waves." Orbital objects are necessarily in motion and and whether in motion or not may enter into resonance with other objects; but orbital objects do not necessarily radiate energy. Much of what science treats as radiant energy is a force-field, resonant relationship. This relationship is not necessarily in motion nor does it necessarily exist in time and space.
Twice every twenty-four hours the seas on the planet Earth ebb and flow. It is not only the seas that heave and sink but also also all movable things on the Earth are brought into motion by the changing gravitational field of the Moon. All things, such as ripening wheat, the hair on on heads, and boughs of trees, become lighter and heavier. Some scientists even believe that the earth`s crust shifts over the fluid interior of the Earth.
In the breaking of the waves of the tides and other masses that raises and falls, the kinetic energy will be consumed as either heat or by mankind through the construction of tidal power stations. The question arises what produces this energy, and more importantly, by means of what conductor does it travel from the moon to the sea? As found by the Enfolding Universe, and its recognition of synchronous folds, no conductor is required and no travel from the Moon to the sea takes place. A changing synchronous gravitational field, as manifested by the Enfolding Universe, is able to transmit energy even though the force-field is not energy itself. For a discussion of electromagnetism, click here.
The Moon and Earth at different speeds are moving in the same direction of rotation. The Earth requires one day for one rotation and the Moon requires thirty days. In this dynamic system, we need to understand how the two parts move relative to one another. The dynamic system when braked gives up energy thereby slowing its rotation. The rotary motion of both the Earth and Moon, which are both involved in energy production, are necessarily braked together.
A stationasry force-field cannot transmit any energy, although its centripetal force would necessarily draw matter to it. At the same time, the moon would not be able to transfer energy to the sea if it were not obiting. The moon`s rotation creates a changing gravitational field and the sea fluctuates rhymthmically with the changing gravitational field. Thus, as recognized by the Unified Theory, a changing gravitational field can transmit energy without itself being energy.
The moon orbits very slowly, and scientists have not generally recognized the character of the alternating field. If the moon orbited at a definitely greater speed, scientists might be encouraged to create the presupposition that the moon radiates gravitational energy, a presupposition completely inconsistent with the nature of gravity. The alternating field of the moon, moreover, is not an energy field, but is a fluctuating force-field by which the sea establishes resonance with the moon allowing the moon`s motion to be transmitted to the movable sea.
Transfer is Instantaneous
The force field, it must be stressed, is not energy nor does it consists of time and space. The force field does take time for resonance to become established. Once resonance is established between the moon and the sea, the transfer is instantaneous and no time is required for the transfer. The moon`s motion and the movable sea occur at the same time.
