An Unifying Approach to the Formation of Consciousness and Matter

ELECTROMAGNETISM

Introductory Remarks

Electromagnetism emanates from the synchronous folds that give rise to the enfolding universe. It is not a product of patterns of organization of matter but is an expression of the enfolding of force with form. An electric current arises from the union of centripetal and centrifugal forces, with centripetal forces contributing to the current its temporal features and centrifugal forces its spatial features. The discussion that follows on outons and intons refers to features of matter that arises from centripetal and centrifugal forces in their enfolding of force with form. For this reason, outons and intons are forms taken on by matter and arises from the enfolding of force with form. The enfolding does not create the form but results in matter that utilizes the form for its manifestation.

Formation of Electromagnetic Phenomena

Outons and intons (click here for a discussion of outons and intons) have features equivalent to static electricity, with an inherent attraction between outons and intons and repellency of outons with other outons and intons with other intons. Matter results from the attraction between synchronous folds of outward and inward attributes of the two-way flow of consciousnee in evolution (click here for a discussion). An electric current, and the magnetic field generated by the current, result from the flow of unitons that unite centripetal and centrifugal forces, with the centripetal forces contributing to one form of electricity its temporal and electrical component and the centrifugal forces contributing to another form of electricity its spatial and magnetic components. An electric current is not a flow of electrons, and an electron as a discrete particle does not exist, but is a construct used by scientists to explain electricity and magnetism.

Conventional Description of Electrical Charges

Charges can be given to bodies in various ways. If a glass rod, for example, is rubbed with silk, it attracts bits of paper and will turn away from another glass rod that has been rubbed with silk. According to the electron theory, the glass rod has gained an excess of positive charges since electons have been taken off of the rod and transferred to the silk by the rubbing. Likewise, if a hard rubber rod is rubbed with fannel, the rod also attracts bits of paper and, instead of repelling a freely suspended glass rod, it attracts it. According to the electron theory, the rubber rod has gained electrons and has become negatively charged.

Conventional Explanation Confused and Contrived

The conventional explanation of electricity is labored and contrived and shows considerable conceptual confusion regarding electrical phenomena. Even though scientists have had considerable success in harnessing electrical phenomena, the conceptual bases for such phenomena are chaotic, confused, and based upon false assumptions regarding matter.

The Synchronous Folds of the Enfoldiong Universe Explain and Predict Electrical Phenomena

The conceptual foundation of the Enfolding Universe necessarily predicts electrical phenomena, and the nature of electrical phenomena constitues powerful proof of the validity of the Enfolding Universe. In the Enfolding Universe, centrifugal and centripetal forces give rise to both types of static electricity. What we call one type and what we call the other type is purely arbitrary, but we will one type positive and the other type negative. The two kinds of static electricity that serve as the bases of matter are inherent in the Enfolding Universe, and with the attraction being of unlike kinds of electricity, the result is the formation of unitons. .

Conclusions

Electrical Phenomena Properly Described by Unified Theory

Thus, electrical charges are manifestation of the centrifugal flow of outons and the centripetal flow of intons. When a body is near to another body with either a centrifugal or centripetal flow, the body can be induced as a result of the flow`s force to take on the centrifugal or centripetal force, leading to the so-called induction of electrical charges. Conductors, in turn, are substances resistant to taking on the flow of outons or intons, and insulators take on readily the centrifugal or centripetal flow.

Conventional Theory Discredited

Under existing theories, an electric current is presumed to a flow of electons. This presupposition, which has no evidentiary support, is incorrect. An electrical current is a flow of unitons, which is a flow of uncharged phenomena, with the so-called charge being manifested only where the flow is disrupted in one way or the other.

Interanal and External Circuits

Ordinarily the so-called electric current is the flow of an external circuit of outons from their point of origin to their point of extinction, and the internal circuit between electrodes is the flow of intons from their point of origin to their point of extinction. The point of origin of the external circuit serves as the point of extinction of the interrnal circuit and the point of extinction of the external circuit serves as the point of origin of the external cvircuit.

Nature of an Electrolyte

Under prevailing concepts, an electrolyte is presupposed to be a compound that in solution conducts an electric current and is decomposed by it into positive and negative ions. In point of fact an electrolyte is a compound of centrifugal and centripetal forces in equilibrium, and this compound is broken up into its component forces by electrodes, which gives rise to the external and internal circuits. Non-electrolyte, such as sugar, are substances with a definite centrifugal or centrioetal flow, being highly stablized unitons that are not capable of decomposition in the electric cell.
