SIGNIFICANT EFFECTS OF THE ENFOLDING UNIVERSE
Introductory Remarks
The enfolding of force and form does not take place in time and space and does not involve movement. But the enfolding of force and form gives rise to the two-way flow and to time and space with the relationship of time and space being expressed in motion. The enfolding of force and form takes place in the eternal now, with the enfolding not involving matter at all. As explained in the article on distinguishing force and motion, force does not take place in time and space and must be distinguished from radiant energy and matter. At the most fundamental level, time, space, radiant energy, and matter are illusory only and qualities imposed by us on the enfolding universe. After we imposed these qualities upon the enfolding universe, an illusion of time sequences of events is established and from these time sequence we attribute particular time sequences as being causal of other time sequences that we treat as occurring after them. Causality is a concept that we impose on time sequences we attribute to features of the enfolding universe. See the article on distinguishing coexistence from causality. At the deepest level, coexistence is a feature of the eternal now that gives rise to the two-way flow of time, space and motion, with the coexistence of manifestation being broken up into illusory time sequences.
There is much confusion among scientists, philosphers, and theologicians about socalled evolutionary changes, about the underlying bases of the evolution of species, and about the means by which these changes occur. The disputes among socalled evolutionists and socalled called creationists are a result of confusion, misunderstanding of evolutional changes, and a failure to understand the effect of the constant enfolding of force with form. They are both right and both are wrong. The constant enfolding of force with form necessarily engorges existing matter with force being enfolded with form, with the result that matter, whether treated as organic or inorganic, goes from a prior form of expression to a different form of expression, generally treated by scientists and theologicians as a more advanced form of expression. Force alone does not result in evolutionasry changes and form alone does not result in evolutionary changes. By themselfies force and form do not result in the evolution of the species. It is the constant enfolding of force with form that results in evolutionasry changes. It is, in fact, the evolution of the species that constitute strong evidence of the enfolding universe.
Overcomes Confusion in Thought
In recognizing the two-way flow--the ever-present centrifugal movement from microcosm to macrocosm and the ever-present centripetal movement from macrocosm to microcosm, we are recognizing essential and derivative features of the Enfolding Universe, and this recognition overcomes much confusion in present-day thought. The outward progression necessarily utilizes in its centrifugal movement the waste products so to speak of the inward, centripetal progression. There is no inconsistency whatsoever between the apparent expansion of the universe--said by some persons to be evidence of the big-bang--and the condensation of matter into galaxies. They are both features inherent in the enfolding universe. What the Cartesian and recessional reference systems treat as the expansion of the universe could not take place without condensation: Origination and extinction in the enfolding universe are dependent one upon the other and coexist one with the other. The enfolding of force and form, which underlies the two-directional flow does not mean that the processes of nature are reversible, and these movements are concomitant and are not sequential one to the other.
Man has generally relied on centrifugal forces in gaining mastery over matter and in utilizing nature`s resources. The internal combusiion engine, nuclear power, and so forth are based upon inefficient utilization of the nature of manifestation. Man should devise ways of furthering his control over and utilization of matter through the use of centripetal forces that are inherently more efficient and powerful than centrifugal forces. Centripetal forces have a superior advantage in their relying on the waste products of centrifugal forces for their manifestation. Centripetal forces, although giving rise to movement towards a point of extinction, use the waste products of centrifugal forces as the building blocks that further effective control over and utilization of the resources of nature.
The power of centripetal forces inherent in the enfolding universe was clearly understood by Viktor Schauberger in his study of the nature of water and the most effective ways of harnassing its energy. He found that water preferred to move inward towards the center of a stream and not outward towards the periphery of a stream. He devise water channels to move lumber logs great distances by an effective utilization of water`s preference for inward movement over outward movement. His systems of moving logs were much cheaper, quicker, and more efficient than systems usually used. Unfortunately, the discovers of Schauberger have generally been ignored.
Along with Buckmeister Fuller, who discovered the principles of the geodesic dome, Schauberger is one of the great men of the twentieth century. Schauberger understood that linear, single dimensional forces are inconsistent with the derivative nature of matter that prefer directional forces toward a center. The geodesic dome of Fuller, a prime example of the enfolding of force and form, is based upon inward forces and weighs much less and has much greater strength than conventional construction; and the water channels of Schauberger transported logs in a fraction of the time of conventional methods. Fuller and Schauberger worked with nature and not against nature. They both understood the nature of the enfolding universe.
Working with nature our energy resources are probably inexhaustible. Perhaps one-day man will have the wisdom to accept nature, not fight it, and to base technology upon a phenomenology true to nature and not to base technology on assumptions untrue to nature. Once the essentisal featues of the enfolding of force with form are recognized, we will be better enabled to utilize the derivative features of the enfolding for the benefit of mankind.
The nature of infinity under the Enfolding Universe differs significantly from other models of infinity. Many models of infinity of space and time assume (1) that the infinity of time results from an infinite sequence of finitely divisible quanta of time, and (2) that the infinity of space is an infinite extension of finitely divisble quanta of space, or (3) that the infinity of space-time is an infinitely series of finitely divisible space-time quanta. These models might be termed two-directional in the sense that time is stated to be an infinite durational and temporal sequence, that space is stated to be an infinite extensional and spatial sequence of quanta, or space-time an infinite series of spatial and temporal units.
These models are based upon a faulty analysis of the infinite nature of the enfolding universe. The mathematrician Pascal presupposed and recognized infinity consistent with the enfolding universe as set forth in the Unified Theory. This model of infinity is that of an an eternal now with an infinite series of infinitely divisible quanta. In this sense, the Enfolding Universe is based upon what might be termed four directional infinity, with the understanding, of course, that the eternal now and infinity perforce has an infinite number of directions. The infinite directions of the eternal now necessarily means that the universe has no particular direction at all, with infinite directions being equivalent to no direction at all.
Electric lamps include (1) the vapor lamp, (2) the incandescent lamp, and the fluorescent lamp. The fluorescent lamp is a form of the vapor lamp. Vapor and fluorescent lamps collect the flow of intons (click here for discussion) in their movement to the microcosm. Although luminescent, these lamps are not incandescent and their luminescence is not a result of glowing heat. Contrary-wise, incandescent lamps collect the flow of outons in their movement to the macrocosm. In the enfolding universe the outward recessional flow necessarily generates heat, as well as the expansion of the universe, as a result of constant origination of outons.
Vapor and fluorescent lamps being based upon the inward recessionsl flow of intons in their constant movement towards extinction necessarly have a luminescence based upon incandescence or thermo-luminescence. Instead of these lamps participating in the manifestation of matter directly, they are essentiaslly ingredients that particpate in the enfolding of force and form and that further the manifestation of matter.
Along with explaining the three main types of lamps, the enfolding universe explains the nature of heat, which results from the engorgement of existing matter or biological life forms in any given segue with recently enfolded unitons. The centrifugal movement engorges matter with heat, which the centripetal movement utilizes and dissipates in its movement towards the microcosmic "black hole." Thus, heat is constantly enfolded and constantly unfolded in our segue.
In General
Earthquakes and vulcanic eruptions would be anticipated by the enfolding universe and are readily explained by the inter-relationships among centrifugal and centripetal forces. The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy with a centrifugal nucleus resulting in increases in rotation of revolving objects as distance from the center increases. The solar system, instead of a centrifugal nuclear center, has a centripetal nuclear center with rotational speed increases with decreases in distance of the rotating object from the nulear center of the Milky Way. For this reason, matter within a planetary system might be subject at the same time to pulls to the center of the solar system and pulls away from the center. With the planet Earth, its inner core has become completely integrated as a part of Earth and is only subject to the pulls of the centripetal planetary and solar nuclei. However, the Earth`s outer layer is in the process of integration, has not become completely integrated, and has both centripetal and centrifugal forces still being operative. When the centripetal forces overcome the centrifugal forces, the outer layer becomes a part of the inner core of the planet Earth and is then subject only to centripetal forces. When centrifugal forces overcome in part centripetal forces, the effect would be either an earthquake or a vulcanic eruption, depending upon particular regions of the outer layer surrendering to the centrifugal forces.
Man`s use of the mineral resources of the Earth`s outer layer clearly has unintended and unrecognized effects on its integration. In fact, the resources used are often those about to complete the integration process. The failure of man to understand the nature of the enfolding universe and the centrifugal forces of the galaxy and the centripetal forces of planetary systems has made more difficult the effective harnessing of energy for productive purposes. It is also a part of his failure to recognize that energy resulting from centripetal processes is clearly a superior source of energy than energy resulting from centrifugal processes.
To prevent the harm done by earthquakes and vulcaniuc eruptions man should cease activities that would encourage centrifugal explosions in the form of an earthquake or a vulcanic eruption. He could also encourage centrifugal explosions by using well supervised and controlled processes. For example, in order to reduce the build-up of excessive centrifugal pressures, he might by controlled procedures encourage vulcanic eruptions. He might also attempt to trigger earthquakes in areas that would cause the least harm to human beings. Unfortunately, as a result of ignorance and presuppositions not based upon any factual basis, we have not as yet developed sufficient understanding to formulate effective preventive procedues.
Force and Form Preconditions for Matter
Being based upon the laws of consciouness in evolution, the enfolding universe as recognized by the Unified Theory explains evolution of the species and explains both inert matter and biological life. Form and force in the enfolding universe are not derivative from matter. Form is a precondition for matter, and force constantly enters and departs from patterns of organizations. The interplay of force and form as aspects of consciousness give rise to the diverse and varied phenomena of our enfolding universe. Force is the means by which form enters into matter. The interplay of forces with one another and with form leads to motion; and pattersn of organized motions give rise to the phemonena of our segue.
The quantum theory assumes that the energy of a quantum of light is equal to its frequency multiplied by a constant, termed Planck`s constant , with energy being an unit of work. The constant is appropriately used where the fixed, Cartesian reference system is used. With the enfolding universe, where the progressive natural reference system is used, Plank`s constraint becomes the means of relating to a given segue the capacity of the space-time progressions of the natural reference system to do work. It is a constant relating the progression to the natural reference system and, although a finite measure, it necessarily presupposes an infinite sequence of quanta that are infinitly divisible. For example, matrix mechanics developed by Heisenberg, which was incorporated as an equivalent version of wave mechanics, serve as a basis for quantum mechanics; and in matrix mechanics the formula is not a differential equation but is a matrix, that is, an array consisting of an infinite number of rows, each row consisting of an infinite number of quantities.
Under a synchronous reference system used with the enfolding universe, the constant would cease to be necessary for two reasons: (1) the need of the constant resulted from the use of the Cartesian referece system that requires either a rigid body of reference or a substitute for such a body would not be present since the synchronous reference system recognizes light as an active force and not as radiant energy, and (2) what passes for the product of frequency of a quantum of light multiplied by the constant would be replaced by a measure of the quantum of light, which is a measure of the force enfolded with form giving rise to what we treat as the quantum of light.
Likewise, the divergence difficulty in the application of quantum mechanics is resolved by the recognition of the enfolding universe. Under Dirac`s equations, the so-called base line mass and base charge appear to be infinite, which would be a necessary consequence of the enfolding universe. Base mass and base charge are said to be hypothetical electrons that do not interact with any other matter or radiation, and scientists have developed a complicated and convoluted process of "renormalization" to resolve in part the divergence difficulty. With an enfolding universe, as recognized by the Unified Theory, the apparentness of base mass and base charge result from the interactions of montons and not unitons. For this reason, the presuppositions underlying base mass and base charge become derivative under the Unified Theory. The need for the renormalization process to resolve divergence difficulties is supportive of an enfolding universe with an infinite array of quanta that are infinitely divisible.
.
The centripetal force from a point of origination to a point of extinction has been recognized as gravity, and few scientists have claimed that gravity is radiant energy. It is the centrifugal force from a point of origination to a point of extinction that many scientist believe to be radiant energy. Scientists have never explained why one force of two active forces is properly treated as a force but the other must be treated as radiant energy. Both are forces that operate independent of matter and do not require matter for their transmission. Their points of extinction differ. With light, the point of extinction is determined when the speed by which the galaxis recede one from the other exceeds the apparent velocity of light and with gravity the point of extinction is that of the "black hole."
The five senses are a result of a long evolutionary process leading to the development of specialized organs furthering the means by which consciousness in evolution becomes aware of itself. Man still retains non-specialized means of awareness of the self and his environment, and these means are often improperly labelled as paranormal or extrasensory or sometimes loosely referred to as the sixth sense. But, man generally relies on his five senses in furthering his awareness of, adustment to, and control over consciousness in evolution.
These five senses serve, therefor, as the means by which we become aware of the infinite dimensions of consciousness in evolution. We human beings become aware of our relationship with the external world through these specialized five senses where phenomena seemingly outside of ourselves are treated as acting upon us. We are actually a part of the phenomena apparently acting upon use, and in actuality we become aware of ourselves as participants of consciousness in evolution. Thus, the so-called five senses relate us to a seemingly external enviroment in which we actually constitute an operative part. Our bodies have other senses that relate us more to our own bodies than to the so-called external world, such as the sensation of weight, the position of the body, and the amount of bending at the joints, and these senses further our awareness of self through organs in our bodies called proprioceptors. Our sense of equilibrium apparently uses as a means of awareness the semicircular canal of the ear. These internal senses, however, are really manifestations of dimensions of consciousness in evolution, with the five senses being concomitant but not causal of these internal senses.
Touch
Our five senses are the means by which we become aware of centrifugal forces and our awareness becomes channelized, focused, filtered, and limited. As forces they are channelized by conciousness transmitting organs and not consciousness creating organs. Touch, for example, is the force by which the body is able to preceive contact with objects, including not only their presence but also their texture and temperature. The force of touch is based upon limitations imposed on the dimensions of consciousness in evolution. Under the reciprocal theory, touch is essentially two-dimensional only, with one dimension of time and one dimension of space. In the enfolding universe, touch is multidimensional along with the other senses, even though each sense may be channelized in the means of awareness. Although touch arises from the infinite dimensions of consciousness in evolution, and in this sense partakes of infinity, it is the means by which a finite part of infinity becomes manifested in time and space and is extremely limited as a manifestation of consciousness in evolution.
Hearing, the perception of centrifugal forces constituting sound weaves, is less limited than touch in its perception of time, even though it remains as limited as touch in its perception of space. Hearing includes a definite awareness of frequency, a measure of how centrigugal forces affects matter after the dimension of time is established. Where the progressive natural reference system formulated by Dewey Larson is used, hearing might be said to be three-dimensional, with two dimensions of time and one dimension of space. Under the enfolding universe, hearing would be treated as multidimensional. Taste, as is hearing, is a more advance form of touch and is the means by which the four gustatory qualities--sweetness, sourness, saltiness, and bitterness--are distinguished. The capacity of taste to make gustatory distinctions includes under the progressive reference system two temporal dimensions of hearing, with gustatory qualities resulting not only from the time dimensions of duration but also from an additional dimension of spatial penetration, thereby being based upon four dimensions, two of time and two of space.
Under the progressive reference system, smell necessarily includes the time and space dimensions of taste and also includes an additional dimension of spatial breadth along with the spatial dimension of extension and of penetration, leading to five dimensions, two of time and three of space. Under the enfolding universe, smell would be treated as multidimensional, although limited in its means of sensory awareness. By odor, for example, a male moth becomes aware of and consequently attracted to a female moth who is situated in a space different from the male moth`s space, with spatial breadth being the means by which manifestations in different spaces are related to one to the other.
Sight is multidimensional, and includes all the means of awareness of the senses of touch, hearing, taste, and arises from the multidemensonal nature of light as an active force. Under the reciprcal theory of time and space as aspects of motion formulated by Dewey Larson, light is treated as radiant energy and not as an active force, leading to six dimensions, three of time and three of space. Sight is the means by which we become aware, as recognized by the Unified Theory, of the constant enfolding of force with form. Under the reciprocal theory of Dewey Larson, sight would be the means by which we are able to distinguish the effect of velocity from other spatial and temporal dimensions. Acceleration must be distinguished from velocity. Acceleration as recognized by Einstein is a pure measure of force and equivalent to gravity but velocity or motion arises from the interplay of forces that must be distinguished from motion.
In General
Although most people take for granted the light of day-time and the darkness of night-time, the reason for the difference between day and night are not self-evident. If the universe, for example, is infinite in both time and space, and if light is radiant energy and not an active force then the light from an infinite number of stars would reach us and light our heavens at night, leading to no disdtinction between day and night. Night might result from a finitude in time only, with its being dark at night for the reason that light from the infinitude of space has not had time to reach us. Conversely, night might result from a finitude in space only, with its being dark at night for the reason that there might not be enough light from the finitude of space to reach us in the infiniute of time.
If light is radiant energy and not an active force, and if the universe is expanding, it might be claimed that it is is dark at night because the speed of recession of the galaxies from each other as a part of the expansion of the universe will reach a speed of recession exceeding that of light, and the light from these galaxis will never reach us since we are receding from the light. Under this approach, the darkness of night is a result of the expansion of the universe. When either the Cartesian or the recessional reference system is used, the Unified Theory would treat the darkness at night as a result of the expansion of the universe.
The Unified Theory, if the synchronous reference system is used, would have a different explanation. The expansion of the universe is apparent only, and light as an active force and not radiant energy does not travel between galaxies. However, beyond the limits of a given segue, galaxies lose their ability to establish a relationship with galaxies in different segues required for light to become manifested as an active force. Because most of the matter of the universe can establish the reactive relationship only with a finite part of the total matter in the universe, it would be necessarily dark at night. Even though time and space may be infinite, the segue is finite and is the means by which infinity is quantaized. Light as an active force has the finite limits imposed by the macrocosmic and microcosmis horizxon limits of segues, making darkness at night an effect of the limitations imposed upon light as an active force.
Were light radiant energy, the explantion of day and night becomes convoluted and labored. However, if force is constantly being enfolded with form, day and night would be the natural consequence of this enfolding. During the daytime, the Sun is visible and we observe the enfolding of forces with the Sun. During nightime, the Sun is not visible at all and we necessarily observe the light from the Moon and from stars that are visible. Since light is an active force, the nature of our obervations during daytime and during nightime constitutes strong evidence of the enfolding universe. The nature of our observation has nothing to do with travel through time and space at all. As long as force and form are being enfolded within our segue, we would experience night and day. We would not be aware of force and form being enfolded in segues microcosmic or macrocosmic to our segue. A segue is necessarily formed by horizonal points of observation.
