Join Our Clan

If you are interested in joining our clan you must do the following: (90% of people FAIL to follow these directions!) We work very hard on our web site to deliver all the information you need to join this clan. Any steps not completed in this procedure is very insulting to us. If you have any questions feel free to ask but if you fail to follow these directions we will reject your application immediately.

1) Read our website. You must understand our community and our clan structure.

2) Read and then re-read our clan laws! This is very important!!

3) Read our Mox FAQ.

4) Fill out the 'Mox Application' form that can be found here. Please fill this form out completly and do not leave out your e-mail address so that we may send you more information that you will need to finish this process!

5) Read the introduction letter from the leader (located in the white text below).

6) Make a softcore non-ladder character with the prefix 'St_' in front of the name. (example: St_Deathbringer, St_Anger, St_Seadog, etc...)

7) Once you are online and playing, you will need to set up our voice-over-ip program called Ventrilo. Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to install and run the program. Key information for installing Ventrilo will be sent to you right after you fill out the Mox Application. Use it to complete the Ventrilo installation.

A letter from the leader:

Thank you for your interest in BOWS! Let me first off give you some information about the clan. The name of the clan is the ‘Brotherhood of the Westmarch Saints’. The ideas behind the clan are kind of a spin-off of the movie The Boondock Saints. The main focus of the clan is to play D2 in a legit environment. No cheating of any kind will be permitted. It’s a lot more fun that way. Together, we will help each other develop our characters and better our playing experiences on bnet.

To differ our clan from any other, the 2nd focus of the clan is to hunt down and expose player killers, dupers, hacks, and unlawful players that are interrupting us or any other honest players from enjoying the game (idea from the movie The Boondock Saints). As you might have already known, too many players on bnet are cheating and it’s destroying the competitive spirit behind bnet. This has driven many of my friends away from bnet. This has got to stop and part of our duty as members of the Brotherhood of the Westmarch Saints is to rid bnet of these players. I have no problem killing a player that is bullying or cheating other innocent players on bnet. Now I’m not the type to tattle tale on people but if some players get WAY out of line, it will be our responsibility to report their account name to me then I will pass it on to Blizzard.

I don’t want to stray too far but our main focus will be to enjoy each others company and play D2 in an honest and friendly way. As a result of your interest in the clan, we will help you develop a character from the ground up. All we require is for you to make a softcore (not hardcore) Non-ladder character with the prefix ‘St_’ before the name (ex: St_Shekiller, St_Ahteenah, St_Outcast, etc..). This will indicate that your character is a ‘Saint’ of the Brotherhood and is our clans uniform tag. So far, every member has done this. It is encouraged that you play that St_ character in only private clan games until you get that character to a respectable level. Our clan games have the naming scheme of ( wms11, wms2, wms55, etc...Password will be sent to you via e-mail). The password never changes unless the leader decides to change it. Also, REMEMBER TO READ OUR LAWS!! We are nice guys, but nothing would upset us more if one of our laws was violated!

Remember to go to our clan website and add our roster to your friends list. Also, to earn your way into the clan means you should be looking for us on bnet, not the other way around. We are here to help one another but be careful when you first play in our games. All newcomers are evaluated very strictly and only people with great character and personality will be considered for membership. We care not of your skill level. You will improve while playing with us. Many people get cut because of greed, rudeness, and not playing in clan games. Rudeness and greed WILL NOT be tolerated. Try not to be one of those people.
