Laws

1) Have fun. What is the point of joining a clan if you don't enjoy teamwork and competition with others?

2) All members must follow every law very seriously, the first violation of any law can be grounds for banishment.

3) No member is allowed to join another D2 clan or guild while in BOWS. However, you are allowed to join other clans and guilds for other games.

4) Trading - We practice a legit style of playing. Use of duped or hacked items is strictly prohibited. The following is the BOWS Trade Act installed 3/3/04:

Article A) In no way shape or form may you trade with clan equipment (unless Article B is the situation). If a member is caught trading clan equipment illegally, you will be banished from BOWS.

Article B) Equipment that is found by other clan members and given to another clan member for the purpose of trading is permitted.

Article C) Trading of duped or hacked items is not permitted.

Article D) You may only trade YOUR finds (or if Article B is the situation).

Article E) It will be difficult to promote members if they are found trading often.

Article F) Saints do not trade more than a few times per month. Saints found abusing this trade act will be demoted.

Article G) Do not trade equipment that can be used immediately to aid another member of this clan.

These Articles are enforced very strictly and violations are grounds for banishment from the clan.

5) Treat all members with respect. Not one member of this clan is any better than anyone else. Even the highest ranking member can be expelled from our clan for violating this law.

6) There is no age requirement to join this clan, just a maturity requirement. The Brotherhood of the Westmarch Saints looks for mature players only and will also not stand for hostile and vulgar language.

7) Thou shall not steal. You are not allowed to steal from anyone! However, you are allowed to collect body-part trophies from PVP kills.

8) Thou shall not kill the innocent. It is up to the leaders of the clan to update the hunted roster. Only names on the roster can be hunted.

9) Non-members are not allowed to play in clan games. Although all clan games are password protected, members are not allowed to invite nonmembers to these games unless the non-member is in review for membership within the Brotherhood.

10) All members are required to participate in clan activities from time to time. The Brotherhood understands that we all have jobs, family, friends, school, etc., so a minimum of twice per month of activity is required (or unless the ruler grants a leave of absence). If this cannot be met, the Saints will remove the name/account from the archive.

11) All members must have a Softcore Non-Ladder St_ character under their account. Members are allowed (and encouraged) to play other types of games (HC, ladder, etc) with 'St_' characters as well.

12) Upon joining BOWS, members must declare a realm they will be exclusive too. You can join USEast or USWest as long as you are dedicated in that realm. Members are allowed to have accounts in both realms but may only be exclusive to one realm. The Grand Saint is the only member who can be exclusive to more than one realm. The realm you are exclusive to is the realm you will be able to participate in as far as tournaments, activities, and voting. Often, activities will pit one realm against another so the realm you join will be the realm you represent. If at any time you wish to switch realms exclusively, it must be cleared by the Grand Saint and both Patron Saints.

13) When signing up with our message board or Ventrilo, your username for those activities should be the same or similar to your D2 LOD clan account name. If it is not, you must change it immediately to prevent clan members from being confused of your identity.

14) If you are unclear as to any of these rules, you must contact the Grand Saint to have them clarified for you.

**These laws might change and/or be adjusted from time to time. Members will be notified via message board if the clan changes or adjusts its laws.
