Mary Horton was born 23 Jan. 1873 and married (5 Dec 1888 in San Augustine Co., Texas) to Thaddeus Warsaw Bullock, Jr. who was born 04 Feb 1870 and died 09 Jul 1922 in Mountainair, Torrance Co. NM. My grandmother was born 10 june 1899 in chireno, Nacogdoches, Tx and she married William Edward White in cottle co. TX. | My grandmother was the daughter of Sara Elizabeth Bullock b. 1868 in San Augustine Co., TX. Her parents were (father:) Thaddeus Warsaw Bullock, Sr. and (mother:) Sara "Sally" R. Bulloch. Sara "Betty" married (husband:) Albert C. Thacker b. 1863 in San Augustine Co., TX (son of Isaac Holmes Thacker and Susan W Bulloch). My grandmother (Beatrice Blanche Thacker) was one of four children: James, Sally, Blanche and Hattie. These children lost both parents around the turn of the century (1900) and they were raised by other family members (grandma was called "BeeBee" or "Blanchie" by family) was raised by her mother's brother (Salomon W. | This note by Bob Hall: Solomon Walker "Hall" Bullock (THADDEUS WARSAW2, THOMAS T.1) was born January 18, 1866, and died January 15, 1929 in Bakersfield, Kern Co.,CA He married (1) MINTA IDA RUSSELL HURST. He married (2) M. ADDIE FOSTER December 01, 1887. She died Abt. 1925 in Bexar County, Texas. He married (3) LELIA HOPKINS October 18, 1893 in McKinney, Texas. (d. 1894.) He married a widow with two children in McKinney, Texas in 1895. Her name was Minta Ida Russell Hurst. Ida had a girl and boy. Approximately five years later they had their first child, Roxey, then shortly thereafter Bessie. The family farmed on land they owned near Vera, Texas until 1911. From 1911 to 1918 they lived in Johnston County, Oklahoma. Bob's father, Thomas William Hall, was born March 21, 1912 in Nider, OK., near Durant. **post note by Laura Hurst: ** Solomon Walker "HALL" Bullock had a very interesting life and I for one am so happy that he was there for his little sister, "Betty" (Sara Elizabeth Bullock) and helped to raised her children, after she passed away.
