Warhammer 40k is a tabletop strategy game set in the far future; in the 41st millenium. You control an army of citadel minatures, which you build and paint yourself. The game has a rulebook and each army has a codex book which gives detailed rules about them. The armies range from the powerful Space Marines, humanity's elite, to to the cruel and calculating Dark Eldar, who torture and enslave. You buy the minatures from Games Workshop, who have stores and independent retailers all over the country. |
