Hopeful resolution? // Jan 21, 2008

WpW has been darkened since 2007 & once litigation is concluded the once valued company could shine again through new ownership or trustworthy management. Hopefully sometime in 2008. WpW's vast tape library of over 70 live events & on-air talent contracts of Candice Callaway, Toby O, Roxy Adams, Scooter & others are valued by several promotions. A sale or resolution could be made in 2008 once damages committed by its past GM are resolved. It appears to be a slow moving process. This site will remain your source if anything develops on that front. Additional interested parties should pm admin on the WpW forums.

--- WpW as a live promotion ends after 4yrs! // Summer, 2007

It only took him a couple months to bring to an end what Tyger Lilly & Roy Lee built in 4 yrs. Yes, in only ONE ppv cycle fully in control of WpW on-air production decisions; AJ Supreme irrevocably damaged the 4yr company beyond recovery resulting in it's closure. AJ's motives @ their core were made to attempt to preserve what he coveted most: "popularity & power". It was unfortunatly done @ the expense of WpW. AJ's unethical acts & disregard for WpW can be evidenced by his actions/in-action.(Note: AJ's Last web-site update was July) WpW through other avenues will seek justice & compensation for the damages committed to it by the collusion & unethical actions by the WpW GM & a couple of his champions. WpW tv88 will be your source for further updates as they occur.

GoldPush St. Louis The Road To HeatWave! // July 24th, 2007

Goldpush in St. Louis started the action straight away, as Shia Mizbourne made his return to singles action, scoring a victory against newcomer Karl O'Sullivan. AJ Supreme came out and helped build the road to Heatwave, noting that not only would the winner of the Delilah-Firebomb match later in the evening face WPW World Champion "The Truth" PDJ in a "No Mas" match for the title at Heatwave, but that the previously signed tag title match against Ego Driven & Chambers & Punisher would be a TLC match-up! AJ was interrupted, however, when the Foundation of Grendel and hometown boy PDJ announced that even though their mystery partner hadn't shown up, they'd still fight the Elite in a handicap match! Rock Hard got a hands from Firebomb himself during his hardcore match with Adam Davids, as the Firebombinb P-I-M-P let Davids know what might be in store for him in Mexico City. GM AJ decided to let this heated match get even hotter, as at Heatwave Davids takes on Firebomb in a Ring of Fire match for the Continental Title! Carlos Bruton made not-so-nice with Big Gold champion backstage, setting the stage for their Pinata match for the title South of the Border. And The Phil got some good news-bad news action, as he retained his TV Title. The bad news is, not only will he face Paul Blair in a two out of three falls match at Heatwave one-on-one, but his car was filled with nacho cheese and subsequently demolished by foe Delilah Ghost!

Hour two started with #1 tag contenders Ego Driven beating the Weed Warriors, but not without some more tension between Slayback and Mike Sensation. Nick Nitro made a suprise reappearance on WPWTV88 to announce his comeback. What sort of impact will the returning Nitro have on WPW? Despite a late appeal to even the odds from Jamar Matthews, PDJ & Grendel gave their all against the Elite, but the numbers game and a chair shot from Ares to the already weakened Grendel sealed the deal for Punisher, Chambers & Blair. Delilah prevailed in her match against Firebomb, solidifying herself as the challenger to PDJ @ Heatwave! And to close out the night, the Ares-Fuego match-up never really hit its stride, as some chair shots in the dark led to Grendel, perched atop a scaffold, sealing that these three heated rivals will climb a scaffold atop the arena in Mexico City to finally settle the blood feud that's spanned two different federations!Click Here for full results!

GoldPush St. Louis Old School NEW Reunion! // July 10th, 2007

Goldpush in Charlotte started off with a new take on some WPW tradition, as Metallica's "Some Kind of Monster" Goldpush's original intro, was updated featuring all the star's of today's WPW. Speaking of new, new GM AJ Supreme came out to open the show to hype the crowd and set the stage for the path to Heatwave. Slayback started the in-ring action right, soundly defeating Ace Wylde. Carlos Bruton solidified his match-up wth Mike Sensation at Heatwave for the Big Gold title in a victory against Timmy D. Rock Hard and Delilah were heard from, and hour one was capped off with a win by Mike Sensation over Pyros & Brett Johnson, gauranteeing Ego Driven a tag title shot against the Elite at Heatwave. Hour two started with some not-so-pleasant conversation between former NEW foes Fuego, Ares, & GRENDEL. Surely we have not seen the last of these guys! In a hotly contested survival of the fittest Gauntlet Match, Adam Davids emerged victorious, stamping his ticket to a Continental Title Match @ Heatwave against current champion Firebomb. Delilah Ghost put in a game effort, but she, along with all the other contenders in the TV Title match, came up a bit short, as the returning Phil debuted successfully to take the belt. The show closed with a bombshell, as AJ Supreme booked the main even for the next Goldpush in St. Louis after a hotly contested war of words - the Elite of Ricky Chambers, Paul Blair & The Punisher will take on hometown boy & WPW Champion "The Truth" PDJ, GRENDEL, and a suprise mystery partner! Who could this man be? Stay tuned to TV88 for more news as it happens!!Click Here for full results!

A present for the Foundation! A present for the Foundation! // June 19th, 2007

Coming off a must see PPV of Wrestival 4, WPW continued their momentum with an action packed Goldpush in Orlando, Florida! New GM AJ Supreme got things started with a bang, not only declaring that this week's matches between Carlos Bruton & Ricky Chambers and Timmy D & Chris Sinclair would be a mini-tournament for the #1 Big Gold Title Contender, but in a historic moment for WPW, that the next PPV, Heatwave would take place in Mexico City, and that all of the matches would have stipulations - 'cause there's "No Law & Order, South of the Border!"

Adam Davids started things off making quick work of dcdude, in a match that looks to have singled the "hey hey hey" kid's departure from the fed. It was a showdown NEW fans have been dreaming about for a long time following that, as GRENDEL, TNDS, & "The Franchise" Ares exchanged not-so-pleasantries. Timmy D has his tournament advancement stamped with a victory. Delilah Ghost fought off some pretty stiff competition on her way to retaining her TV Gold in her first defense with the belt.

As hour two started, Foundation members PDJ & Grendel were looking for their stablemates Europa, but they were nowhere to be found. Carlos Bruton however was able to find a win, defeating Ricky Chambers and cementing he'll face Timmy D for the #1 Big Gold Contendership. In a wild scene, what started off as a simple ring ceremony for new World Champion PDJ turned into mayhem, as both members of Ego Driven made their claim to a shot at the belt, culminating into Slayback laying out his partner, Mike Sensation. But things seemed to be on the upswing for the team as Slayback defeated Punisher, and was saved from an Elite beatdown by Mike Sensation, who challenged the Elite for the tag gold they currently hold.

In the main event, Firebomb made some controversial comments before being quickly pinned by Paul Blair and laughing his way up the entrance ramp. Who knows what is in the mind of the Firebombing P-I-M-P? But the answer of what is in the mind of the Elite is clearly destruction, as the show closed with them presenting the Foundation a "present" - both members of Europa bloodied and wrapped in barbed wire!!!

Wrestival 4 Wrestival 4 Results! // June 3rd, 2007

Title belts were flying fast and furious at WPW's fourth Wrestival event. Svala's "Count to Four" turned out to be a fitting anthem, as no less than 4 championships changed hands at World Pro Wrestling's flagship event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Current Big Gold Champion Mike Sensation was able to retain his title over challenger Tony Ruiz in short order. But Firebomb was not as lucky with his All-Time TV title. After finally revealing she was the challenger known as "who", a returning Delilah Ghost claimed the belt, besting both the champ as well as several other competitors.

The Tag Titles were on the move as well, as Elite representatives Ricky Chambers & The Punisher defeated the current champs Ego Driven in what could be described as an upset in their WPW debut. But one half of ED, Slayback, bounced right back, getting to the non-title match contract as part of the Grab For The Grudge match. Firebomb received quite a nice consolation prize, and is the new WPW Continental Champion.

It was then time for a recap of the HOF Awards. And while it was a great opportunity to recognize BOD member and one half of the WPW announce team, Candice Callaway, WPW GM Roy Lee dropped an unexpected bombshell, announcing that AJ Supreme would be returning to WPW in that capacity.

The night was capped off with the first ever Dealer's Choice match, in which the second fall was to be the choice of the winner of the first. Mike Sensation pinned current champ Doug Gavelon to make the second fall a Cell match, and while he gave it all he could, he came up short to "The Truth" Patrick Derek Jefferson, who made his return to the ring after a nearly year-long absense. Jefferson's becoming World Champ for the third time capped off an incredible night of action!

PDJ returns with the Foundation! PDJ returns with the Foundation! // May 8th, 2007

Goldpush San Antonio proved to be a great step towards Wrestival 4. The first "Grab For The Grudge" qualifier match between Ivan and Timmy D ended in a time limit draw. Roy Lee announced that both men would be in the "Grab" match at Wrestival. Also announced was this years inductee into the wrestival Hall of Fame, Candice Calloway. Another video promo for Felix Terry was played hyping his arrival in WPW. The self proclaimed security of WPW was seen trying to intimidate Paul Blair and Chasey Duerte, that set in motion the match between Blair and Ice Kold. Blair won that match with help from The Elite. Lost Soul has shed his demon gimmick and it proved to be a turning point in his career as he defeats Hart and moves into a spot in the Grab for the Grudge match at Wrestival. Roy Lee returned to announce that the Grab for the Grudge match would have two prizes, a match of choosing and the Continental title. He also announced that Firebomb and Slayback would both be in the match as well, after Slayback defeated Andy Bailley in their No DQ Continental title match. Drifter, Brooke, and Tommy Kurinto showed up to see who Drifter's opponent for the ML:XL World title would be at Wrestival. His opponent turned out to be Kurinto. Kurinto had little time to celebrate for being attacked by Drifter and Brooke. Firebomb proved that he could hang with WPW by winning the All Time Television Championship over Carlos Bruton and Karl O'Sullivan. Roy Lee also made the announcement of a four way tag team title match for Wrestival between Ego Driven, The RWF Elite, Europa, and Ice Kold and Extreme. Mike Sensation came to the ring to let the world know that he WOULD be in the WPW World title match at Wrestival against Doug Gavelon. But the biggest story of the night ended when Roy Lee and GRENDEL announced that the match would be a 3 way title shot between Gavelon, Sensation, and the returning former world champion PDJ in a "Dealer's Choice" match. Also a new stable was born in the Foundation, with GRENDEL, PDJ and Europa standing up as the Foundation of WpW!

The Road to Wrestival! The Road to Wrestival! // April 17th, 2007

Goldpush Little Rock started off with a bang and a war of words between Wrestival main event combatants Doug Gavelon & Mike Sensation. Things got physical, and in the end both Brooke and Slayback were left laying courtesy of Gavelon. In singles action, it was Ivan & Slayback getting victories against Extreme & Frank Hart, respectively. In Six Man Warfare, it was Team RWF getting the victory over the WPW Squad. The #1 Contender for the Continental Title was decided, with Andy Bailey getting the best of Timmy D. Roy Lee made a formal announcement that Lilly was being sent home, but got the Little Rock crowd jumping with the announcement that GRENDEL would be in the Wrestival Main Event! The joy was shortlived, however, as the Elite rendered a 3 on 1 beating that appears to render him unable to compete for the biggest crown in pro wrestling. It was upset time for the TV Title, as Carlos Bruton took down the current champ Juan Victor Chavez in a one on one matchup to get the Gold. To cap the night, a spectacular main event saw Mike Sensation retain his Big Gold title in a hard fought match against Gary Mac. In a surprising turn, Sensation self-vacated the belt directly after the match. When asked about his actions later by Slayback, Sensation indicated he had something up his sleeve – but what?!

Fresh off the back of an eventful night in Fukuoka the Goldpush World Tour made the trip to Australia. The show opened with a great match up between two teams vying for Tag Title Gold, Ego-Driven vs. Devastation. Ego-Driven picked up the win and will face the oWo at November Reign for the Tag Team Championships. Sin City World Tour begins with a bang! // September 26th, 2006

The Fukuoka Hall in Fukuoka Japan witnessed the kick-off of another WpW world tour. An eventful night opened with the oWo defeating O-Zone, however, the story here was not the result but the manner in which it came; Brooke Starwind abandoning her partner Tyger Lilly, disbanding O-Zone, and pledging her allegiance to Mike Sensation. Next up, a Grendel interview precedes Slayback’s narrow win over Havoc in a closely fought match-up. Havoc’s head may not have been in the game as prior to the match his partner Gavelon’s girlfriend Tiffany was attacked backstage requiring medical treatment. After the match Slayback went to town on the defeated Havoc, which resulted in both men’s tag team partners coming to ringside, and ended with Gavelon and Havoc dominant in the ring. Rhemes Trekker defeated Henry W. Miller but not before assaulting Grendel’s father, Bud Sinclair, backstage. Trekker, the new ML world champion, was announced by former ML commentator, Arliss Taylor. The biggest shock of the night came just into the second half of the show when Grendel vacated his Tag Team and Big Gold Championships to concentrate on his pursuit of the WpW World Title. Grendel then took a step closer to that World Title when he defeated Lost Soul later in the evening. Mike Sensation continued his hot streak with a win over Sewaside then ‘crucifying’ the self-styled “Sports Entertainment Messiah” sending him through a giant wooden cross. Goldpush closed on the image of a new TV Title holder as “The Sinner” Jeffery Davis beat off stiff competition from Ozzy Justice, Michael Graves, Delilah Ghost, and newcomer Juan Victor Chávez. GP:NYC MSG Questions Answered! // June 6th, 2006

Holy Sh*t! Yep, that pretty much sums up GP:NYC. The show started off with a BANG, that bang being the oWo crashing good old SBK’s retirement speech. AKA made a special appearance, frightening the New York crowd, and shocking Dennis Mann most of all. After all we all thought Dennis Mann was AKA. The first scheduled ring action took place in the form of the All-Time Television title. Rock Hard put up a great effort, but was it enough to dethrone Chris Lee? Newcomer, and New Jersey Fed Cup winner, Ozzy Justice made his GP debut by spitting in the face of Monique… a dastardly act. This was followed up by graphics featuring none other than former WpW star Michael Graves, who’s return is on Independence Day. The next match pitted rising star Jamie Jackson against Big Gold champ David Capital. The champ took it to Jackson early, but was it enough to keep his momentum and win? After the match DC had a couple encounters, first with the man they call GRENDEL, who literally snapped a sledgehammer over his thigh… no kidding folks. Then after David Capital re-entered the ring, Johnny Onyx came out and did a in-prompt-to Potshots, making a match for he and DC for next GP when they’ll be competing for the Big Gold title. As the time drew closer to Monique revealing her unborn babies’ daddy, a bundle of stars came out… including FireBomb, Gavelon, Jamar Matthews and Beantown Brawler. One of which was revealed as Monique’s baby-daddy. GRENDEL made an appearance, making himself heard, and giving Scooter a piece of his mind. The next bout saw HWM in action as he kept his winning streak going. Great Greg White returned and made an announcement about GP:Philly.A new WpW title announced! Also in one of the hottest spots of the night Mike Sensation and PDJ faced off in the ring… verbally. PDJ challenged Sensation to a match at the next GP, which he received. After a short return Greg White was fired by Donald Trump. Trump? Is he the new management? Speaking of which…. You’ll have to read to find that one out. Amber Grace won her and Ruiz’s title contention match with a roll up, giving her a shot at Miller’s Continental title. Shawn Stryker came out and shocked the world… but how? The show ended with a bloodied Roy Lee and the new owner stating that while she/he has the WpWers support that WpW will live strong! Click Here For Full Results!

An alliance is formed! Unlikely Alliance! // April 3rd, 2006

The Wrestival Build-up reached its fever pitch at Goldpush Bayou in Monroe, Louisiana. The Great Grappler was decided, as Rhemses Trekker bested both Delilah Ghost & Doug Gavelon, earning a trophy and a spot in the Grab for the Gold Grudge match at Wrestival. Gavelon did not leave empty handed, however, as he was also given a spot in that six-way match. Speaking of leaving, Tommy D Powers was met with a chorus of boos upon announcing his departure from WPW. A graphic was then shown for the new-to-WPW Jermaine Owens. Trio was shown confident about their standings thusfar backstage, before two of them (in the form of Power Stryke) decimated the team of Henry W Miller & "Lost Soul" Samus Bellemont. After the match it was announced Kid Rock will be the one to induct SBK into the ML Hall of Fame during Wrestival Weekend. Lilly & Delilah got into a war of words, raising interest for their showdown at Wrestival. However, Lilly wasn't able to retain her TV Title, losing to Lucid Nightmare, who revealed himself after the match to be Sickle! The World Title match contract was signed after some comments from both the Champ PDJ & challenger SBK. Not as smooth sailing was "Da Dam Dream Match" contract signing, as Lost Soul refused to come out to the ring. A Plan B was in the cards though, as Henry W. Miller came out and announced that instead of a singles match, he would join Firebomb & Lost Soul in the Continental Title Match. In the match billed as "Bayou's Best vs. WPW's best" WPW world champion PDJ defeated former champion Dynamic Dynamite. And in the final match of the evening, David Capital dominated Firebomb in an all out brawl! Roy Lee Rumble AKA is DA MANN....DENNIS MANN! // February 19th, 2006

Dynamic Rumble? Hell yea it was! The show card was filled with top notch matches, and didnt disappoint. The show started off with a new show on Gold Push, Potshots with Johnny Onyx, where the rising star poked fun at some competition. The Big Gold match followed up in amazing fashion. Toby O was imparsely the entire bout, which came down to Onyx and GRENDEL in an amazing battle. Then came the nominations for ML Hall of Fame. A former WpWer and two current ones were nominated, but who? And for what reason? Justaface came out, revealing himself as a former WpW superstar in one of the shockers at the Rumble. Were his efforts enough to fend off Doug Gavelon though? Two men thought gone form WpW just a month ago, Nick Nitro and Chasm have formed some sort of evil alliance, and their true goal has yet to be seen. AKA nearly de-robed Delilah Ghost center ring as Tyger Lilly and GRENDEL cheered him on. AKA had a trick up his sleeve as he turned out to be Dennis Mann under a mask. David Capital and PDJ shoved one another to their limitations, and only one emerged as the WpW World champ. Then the Bulkstar started running wild in the four corner match, but did the Powers step up and put him in place? Then the actual Rumble came, which was AMAZING! Pirates were biting Elites, and forcing them to change their ways. Dennis Mann showed absolute strength by tossing men out, but was it enough to win the Rumble? Did SBK repeat? How did the number one entrant Drifter do? Whos the Big Gold Champ? The World Champ? Read RLR to find OUT! Click Here For Full Results!

Push for the Gold Four New Champions crownd at GoldPush Cleveland! // January 30th, 2006

Goldpush in Cleveland proved the be one of the best. Already the show is said to be getting some of the highest ratings in the past few months. Roy Lee proved that he still knows how to run things. The show started off with an attempted interview with GRENDEL and Lilly, that ended up with a confession by the former CEO of WPW. Lilly confessed to the world that she was the one who attacked Monique last year. The fans in Cleveland saw Roy Lee announce that his picks for the PPV after his name would be HIMSELF and Jamar Matthews, and an announcement of a new 15 man Roy Lee Rumble rather than the customary 10. GRENDEL once again rushed the ring prior to the Unknown Dude and Drifter match, attacking Unknown Dude and revealing him to be former WPW star Nick Nitro. Overcoming the odds, Nitro went on to win his match over Rhemses Trekker, to gain his spot in the "rumble". But suffered a viscious attack by Trekker and his wife Brooke after the match. Next up, GRENDEL revealed that his mystery partner was suprisingly Shawn Stryker. The team of Power Stryke went on to win the match and tag team titles over Reno and Rude. Another suprise from GRENDEL was an attack on his own partner SBK after the match had finished. The three way dance for the Big Gold title between champion Henry Miller, Blake Rancid, and Johnny Onyx came out with Onyx becoming the new Big Gold Champion. Hour two started off with some risky business by Firebomb and Cissy Miyas. Which led to the television title match and a new All Time Television Champion Tyger Lilly. Other names were thrown into the Roy Lee Rumble before the main event, leaving the final 15 entrants: Roy Lee, Jamar Matthews, Rock Hard, SBK, Nick Nitro, "Drifter" Rhemses Trekker, Austin Longhorn, Pop Culture Cowboy, Blackowt, Johnny The Pirate, Luca Altieri, Blake Rancid, AKA, Firebomb and the final participant PSA. The main event went off with a new Continental Champion Samus Bellemont formerly known as Lost Soul picking up a tight victory over PDJ. BOD Member Roy Lee Roy Lee Rumble 2006 Plans announced! // January 13th, 2006

The first Goldpush of the year started off with a bang, and "the mean" came in the form of Grendel, who laid out both Unknown Dude & Eno Redrum before they could even begin their match. Grendel grabbed Eno's NEW title, but instead of running of with it, he deposited it in the trash. Speaking of belts, a new TV champ emerged, as Rock Hard bested the field to aquire the strap. Roy Lee came out to get the hype started on the PPV that bares his name, as well as made the announcement that the Roy Lee Rumble will be held in Detroit the Sunday after the Super Bowl. It wasn't a super time to be HWM or Johnny Onyx, as Grendel again made his impression felt by laying out both men during their match for the Big Gold Title. He brushed by his longtime friend PDJ, when the World Champ asked what was going on. But PDJ had his own share of problems, as during a celebration for his title win, BOD member Ron Steele came out and dropped a bombshell - that PDJ was the father of Monique's baby-to-be! If that weren't enough, he learned his first World title defense would be against the returning David CApital, who ticked off the fans and announced he was signed to a new contract by a yet to be named member of the BOD. The night ended on a not so GREAT note for Greg White, as after appearing on Goldpush to accept the BOD Member of the Year Award, he found out that his project show XL is cancelled effective immediately. Heatwave 2005 A HeatWave hit Miami // September 29th, 2005

Miami exploded as Heatwave 2005 started off with the WPW World title match. Striken came out the winner, but ends his contract with WPW leaving a vacancy in the World Champion spot. The second match of the night showed Matt Daniels determination as he took on Ruiz and Peck of the oWo alone. Daniels couldn't overcome the two on one odds and the oWo left the building once again as WPW tag champs. SBK Shawn Stryker defeated David Capital in record breaking time in what was supposed to be the #1 Contender spot for the World title. Firebomb and Simon Terry showed the WPW the old intensity of ML as they fought for the ML World Title, even with the return of Cissy Miyas aligning with Firebomb, Simon overcame all the odds to win the ML World Title. Just to be backstabbed once again by Tommy Kurinto. In possibly the most brutal match of the night Donnovan Midas defeats the Phil in the Grab For the Grudge Match, only to be jumped by long time friend Anthony Christopher Edwards and PSA. A new tag team in WPW? The main event of the night opened up with live music from Rob Zombie and Beanie Segal. PDJ and Grendel both recieved a strike back kick from Shawn Stryker who then left the match. Roy Lee stepped in as referee. ML XL comes to WpW Greg White Announces ML's Return // August 29th, 2005

Goldpush at the Pyramid started off with a big special guest in the form of Don King for the signing between Patrick Derek Jefferson and Grendel. An appearance by SBK didn't seem to phase the two, as the signing went without any hostility. Greg White was seen backstage giving pep talks to the lower level talent of WPW. Tommy D. Powers retains the All Time Television Title by scoring the win over Suprema Vagena, only to be attacked once again by Novo Fas. Newcomer Sickle made an appearance by attacking both Nightmare and Juggalo. The heat between the Phil and Donnovan Midas continued with Greg White making thier match at Heatwave a "Grab for the Grudge" ladder match. Suprisingly, Simple Simon Terry won the four way suprise match over Lilly, Henry Miller, and the Phil. David Capital was chosen to take on Shawn Stryker for the #1 Contender spot at Heatwave. That match looks to be a show stealer. Hour two kicked off with the Real Deal owner Elu Jackson making his first appearance only to be one upped by Greg White. Greg announced the biggest change since his induction into WPW...the return of Major League in the form of a new show....XL. Simon Terry accepted the match against Firebomb for the "new" ML World Championship. Firebomb came out and went on a rant about old ML, even coming up with a new slogan that is sure to fill posters in the future. The oWo showed how strong they are once again by beating Delilah, Triple X, and the world champion Striken in a 6-man tag team match. One of the largest suprises of the night was Tseng and the Turks once again calling out OMR, only to be confronted by OMR Jr., proving to the world that NEW isn't dead (No pun intended) by any means. Suprema Vagena showed up and attacked Tseng and his cronies, adding fuel to that fire. Elu Jackson's night didn't get any better when he offered Johnny The Pirate a contract with Real Deal. JthP answered Elu with a kick to the shin. Elu continued to show his colors by conversing with Tommy Kurinto about an attack against SST. Dennis Mann let Monique know that Novo Fas' titles weren't safe at Heatwave. Dennis let the world know that Novo Fas would take on the oWo for those titles at Heatwave. PDJ and Grendel proved that their match at Heatwave wouldn't slow them down as a team at the Pyramid. The scored an impressive win over the tag champs Novo Fas in the main event of the night. It looks as though Heatwave is shaping up to be the biggest night in WPW history with six huge matches being announced, and even possibilities of an opening night before..

Simple Simon Terry shows up to announce he's going to be the referee between Firebomb and Ric Flash at Heatwave, only to be interrupted by Greg White who offers SST Ric Flash's spot against Firebomb with a little icing on the cake in the form of a Major League Championship belt. SST was then interrupted once again by Tommy Kurinto where things got heated. Tseng and the Turks return to the roots of N.E.W. even to the point of bloodying the tag champs and challenging OMR? to a match at Heatwave. GRENDEL gets the win over Chris Phillips only to be attacked by the oWo with new member Roland Peck, causing SBK to announce his choice to become special ref at the GRENDEL/PDJ match at Heatwave. Juggalo and the Gathering proved their worth in WPW by beating Lost Soul. Tommy Kurinto shows his "true colors" by going with the "American Shiek" repackaging idea, and steals a win over Henry W. Miller. Midas and PDJ heated up the ring while the return of Dark Blaze and THE PHIL caused even more friction. The Phil donned a "Great" shirt, which leaves us to wonder if he is first to become a new Major League player. Novo Fas retained the titles against the Turks, but were shown a piece of the "old school" Turks. Tommy D. Powers gets the win and steals the record from David Capital to become the new All Time Television title, but had no time to celebrate as the oWo returned to the ring.
