Birth: 19 July 1694 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts Death: 6 August 1760 in Shrewsbury, Worcester, Massachusetts Education: Graduated from Harvard College in 1714 Job was ordained first Minister in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, 4 December 1723, with a salary of £60 a year and £60 settlement for the first year, then a rise of 4 pounds a year, until it should amount to £80. He lived on house lot No. 22 - granted to the first minister-, which, with other grants subsequently made to him, contained some of the best land in town. He continued in the ministry of this church 37 years, until his death in 1760.
