|Wreaths for Warriors Walk
Fort Stewart, Georgia
| Welcome to the Wreaths for Warriors Walk website. Warriors Walk was started in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. When a soldier assigned or attached to the 3d Infantry Division was killed in action, a tree was planted in their honor along Warriors Walk. Since that first deployment the 3d Infantry Division has been deployed to Iraq 3 times. Each month, a ceremony is held to dedicate the trees of the fallen soldiers for that month. As of October 2008 there were 417 trees planted along Warriors Walk. If you have never been to this hallowed ground, you should come and walk among the trees, read the names and see the mementoes that family and friends have left in remembrance of their loved ones who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Our goal is to honor the sacrifice of the soldiers and their families.

| For years, Wreaths Across America has donated and placed wreaths in Arlington Cemetery. For 2007, their goal was to place 500,000 wreaths at veteran cemeteries around the country. We were a part of that goal.
Our goal with Wreaths for Warriors Walk was to place a Christmas wreath at the tree of each and every fallen soldier at the Fort Stewart Warriors Walk. With generous donations, selfless volunteers, and in coordination with Wreaths Across America (WAA), our vision became a reality in December 2007. Based on the overwhelming support and attendance at that event, we decided to make it an annual event.
We need your support and sponsorship of one or more wreaths to help make this yearly event successful. To find out how to sponsor a wreath, please visit our sponsorship page.

Wreaths for Warriors Walk Inc would like to thank all of the volunteers and sponsors for helping to make Wreaths for Warriors Walk a reality. We could not do this without you. And to the family members of those we have honored and to those families who have loved ones deployed, we hold you in our hearts today and always.
| We hope you will be able to join us on
12 December 2009 when the wreaths will be laid around the country and at Warriors Walk to honor our heroes. Want to get involved? Check out the Volunteer Page.
