Some of the lines in Our Family Tree contain fifteen (15) generations. Some of our ancestors date back to the late 1500's, coming from England to the New World. They settled in Eastern Virginia around Jamestown.
Many hours of research and many miles traveled goes into the completion of this family tree. Because of limited space and time, I have decided to put only the direct family line and their siblings on these web pages. With thousands of names, it would be virtually impossible to name everyone. If you are connected to any of these lines and want more info, send me an email and I'll get back to you with what I have. Our sources of information come from:
West Virginia Museum and Archives, Charleston, WV. Virginia State Library, Richmond, VA. County Courthouse Records from Monroe, Summers, Raleigh, Mercer, & Greenbrier Counties, West Virginia. County Courthouse Records from Giles, Bedford, Montgomery, Bland, Franklin, Essex, Caroline, Cumberland, Richmond, Amelia Counties, Virginia and others too numerous to mention. The Giles County Historical Society Museum The Church of the Latter Day Saints The World Family Tree The Internet including Ancestry.com
Our research involved the studies of Micro-Film, Early Wills, Land Deeds, Cemetery Records and Family Bibles. Our thanks to all who contributed their personal family notations.
A SPECIAL THANKS to Louise Hardage and Leonard A. King who assisted in this research. Without their help this project could not have been completed.
My only request is that this "Tree" be passed on to future generations. God Bless All Our Family Brenda K. Haase
