| Hello, My name is Brenda Karen BLANKENSHIP King Haase. I was born July 20, 1944 in Peterstown, (Monroe Co.) WV. My parents were George Washington BLANKENSHIP and Agnes Loraine DILLON. They were married August 16, 1939. When I was 18, I married Leonard Peterson KING. We have 3 children, 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter. CHILDREN: Larry Allen KING, Sept. 1, 1963 in Roanoke,VA. Leonard Alvin KING, March 23, 1965 in Roanoke, VA. Deborah Lynn KING, July 8, 1966 in Roanoke, VA. GRANDCHILDREN: Crystal Lynn KING, daughter of Deborah Lynn KING and Bobby Ray RIFFE, born May 27, 1984 in Princeton,WV. Emily Dawn KING, daughter of Leonard Alvin KING and Jennifer Gail BRYANT, born February 7, 1994 in Fairlea, WV. Four children were born to this marriage. | George W. BLANKENSHIP died November 1, 1969 at the age of 56. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He is buried at Rocky Mount Cemetery, Pipestem, WV. Larry Daniel BLANKENSHIP died April 9, 2001 at the age of 45 after an 8 month battle with cancer. He is buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton,WV. |
