William & Polly lived in Greene Co., PA
William Stewart served in the Pennsylvania State Militia in the Wheeling area with his brother Charles; Patrick Board; and Henry Blosser. They went down the Ohio river to what is now West Virginia and about 1816 settled at Three Forks of Reedy Creek. William married Patirck's sister, Mary "Polly" Board. One of William's sisters married Robert Blosser. William was also close friends with David and Thomas Seaman.
